Lucy's fights are certainly entertaining. I like them as well, heh. Gray is my overall favorite. He's human in his fights. He has his struggles, shows his limits, and sacrifices a lot to get what needs to be done. It's admirable. His fight agains one of the Raven Trinity, and his fight against Racer, as examples, were pretty dramatic.

Pretty soon Natsu will start saying, "with your powers combined, I am Captain Natsu!"

Haha, I was about to mention Fairy Glitter, as well. Although I would like to see iced shell be used to contain that monster. If not by Gray then Ultear. Thank god it wasn't as one-sided as led on, but it's still bullshit to see 'lightning flame dragon.'

I'm curious as to what Happy and co. found. "It's alive?"

I think it's for a better balance. Too much power would make them over-exert and break down quicker. Using it sparingly would help them. That Bleach character 'something-pachi' does this, right?

Good example. Cell was defeated by who? Gohan, that's who. They were trying to push him, he's arguably the strongest of the Saiyans. But due to popularity and such, Goku was favored in the later sagas.

I don't mind Natsu being in the final battles at all, I understand the need for him, but at the same token, he takes down enemies with the same rashness as the last fight. And a lot of the battles, up until this one, have been quite one-sided. I specifically said I want other characters to do things. Fine, have Natsu there, but don't render the others useless (which they have been in this entire battle against Hades).

Seven years? What the hell...I don't get where this is going at all.

Mashima's going to be at the NYCC this year. Can't wait. ^^

For some reason, I thought she had something to do with the celestial spirits. Would sure help tie things in with Lucy...hell...maybe that's where they went, the Celestial World.

Hm yeah I can see Edolas playing a role, maybe. But then, would it be a one-way trip? Because...seven years is a damn long time. xD

That combo was pretty sweet. I like that they actually made Taurus useful there, was bad-ass, haha.

I missed out on about...12 chapters I think? It's been a while. But I read it all and caught up today. They are really pushing things along, aren't they? I think the funniest thing was the Spirit King mentioning the time-skip. Funny, heh.

So many freaking changes, it seems a bit too rushed. I mean, they are explaining along the way but still, it really is leaving room for errors, like with Jellal's escape and Ultear and Meredy's place. It's cool, don't get me wrong, but still a bit...unsatisfying.

I definitely like Gray's defeat. I cannot freaking wait for him to get his revenge and beat both those members from Raven Tail and Sabertooth.

Gender-swap

Mashima posted some neat gender-swapped versions of some of the characters. Natsu is meh. xD But Lucy and Gray look nice.
