Fall 2011 Anime Season

...More Lupin III? More Higurashi? Persona 4? Fate/Zero? We already knew about Guilty Crown...

Can...can we have the fall season now and the summer season later?

So *bleep*ing glad Mirai Nikki is cleared for an anime. I wish we could just skip the summer. The summer is balls.

For Fall, I'm thinking "frak Shakugan no Shana III." They cocked up season two far too much for me. That said, I'm a liar. I'm still gonna watch it. Damn them.

C^3. What is WITH the Japanese and the letter C? CC, C, C^3. I'm pretty sure there are others as well. It's freaking bizarre. How am I meant to keep track of that?

Anyway, Fate/Zero. Higurashi because I'm a whore for that even if Rei wasn't all that great. KamiNoMi OVA. Plenty for me to be excited over.

Yeah okay, I know Fate/Zero will probably be disappoint, but I wanna see it anyway. UBW was already fun for me. Even if it was a convoluted over-summarized version of the VN.

And Persona 4.

I liked Working. Not in the sort of "I'm hanging on this every step of the way and have to have MOAR" way, but I like a wholesome and lighthearted comedy every now and then.

And, you know, you have to give it credit for not being in a damn school setting.

They're making an anime for Maken Ki... Oh god.

Mastix was asking what potential gems I see, so here's a list of my impressions in my lolopinion.

Guaranteed hits:

• Hunter x Hunter - Being the big fanboy I am, this is my most anticipated just to see how they handle it.
• Fate/Zero - Nuff said.
• SnS III - Please don't screw this up.
• Mirai Nikki - I read a quarterish of the manga and loved it.
• Guilty Crown - Even though I keep hearing about this, I actually don't know what to expect, but it's noitaminA.

Pontential Gems:

• Kyoukai Horizon - The PV made it look like its catering to fanservice, but this is a Sunrise fantasy so eh...
• Phi Brain - Plot sounds kinda cool if this has a badass protag-kun. Plus it's Sunrise.
• Un-Go - Another male+female mystery duo? But it's noitaminA.
• Boku wa Tomodachi - Again, I hear people expecting good things from this so I shall try it out.

• P4A - As much as some people are excited, I never actually touched the games before so yea. ._.
• Last Exile - Something else I keep hearing about but don't really have any idea about.
• Tamayura - The OVA had an "Aria" feel to it. (hint Mastix hint)

• C3 - I'm getting all sorts of vibes from this but I can't call it off just yet.
• Gundam - loldesign. Well, I'm not a gundam fan and won't be for a long while, but someone here has to be.
• Busou Shinki - Kinda liked the CG in the PV, and it's only a few mins long so I'll probably check it out.

• Ika2 - I didn't have enough time to watch the first season but I enjoyed what I did see. A fun SoL.
• Working2 - I liked Working S1 a lot actually, so I'll be watching this for sure.
• Bakuman 2 - Didn't like slow pacing of S1 but I'm sure someone out here does.

So yea. I see something in 18/29 series.
