Kanpekigu~no ne (Watarirouka Hoshiri Tai) quote Plot Summary, Wikipedia A young sorceress, Lucy Heartfilia, travels to the land of Fiore to join the magical Fairy Tail Guild. Along the way, she meets Natsu Dragneel, a teenage boy looking for a dragon named Igneel. Shortly after their meeting, Lucy is abducted by Bora of Prominence, who was posing as Salamander of Fairy Tail, to be sold as a slave. Natsu rescues her and reveals that he is the real Salamander and has the skills of a Dragon Slayer. He offers her membership into the guild, which she accepts, and they become a team performing various missions for the Fairy Tail guild. ----- It's premiering next Monday and it's pretty much the only Fall anime on my watchlist atm since I'm a huge fan of Mashima's and the manga. Though I'm kinda surprised that Hirano Aya's not doing the OP or ED, considering she's playing the female lead. 	Oh hey, someone finally made a thread on this. I guess I was too lazy to~ Anyways, I've been waiting for this for quite a bit, I only recently started reading the manga then dropped it when I heard an anime was getting released so the plot will be new. People are expecting this to be the 4th big Shounen next to Naruto, Bleach and One Piece. Wee, airing tomorrow... -------------------

	Ya rly. After the anime was announced, readership increased to the point where it got 4th place on Onemanga. What people expect is that because of Fairy Tail's premise, even if it catches up to the manga, there's a lot of potential for good filler. The Evaro Mansion! ■4話　(11／2) DEAR KABY(親愛なるカービィへ) ■5話　(11／9) 鎧の魔導士 The Armor Mage They seem to be moving at a pretty quick pace already. Edit: Just watched first episode, pretty good so far. Like a lot of others have been saying, the animation is pretty subpar for some scenes like the action ones, hope it'll improve with time. Aya Hirano doing Lucy's voice works perfectly and so does Happy's VA. Natsu sounds kinda awkward in his serious tone though... The OP felt somewhat generic to me but I really like the ED song. 	Yeah, I just watched the pilot and those were pretty much my exact thoughts; I'm not that big of a fan of the artstyle and animation and the OP didn't impress me that much. I also hope they won't rely too much on stock footage later in the series. :/ But yeah, Hirano Aya and Kugimiya Rie worked surprisingly well for Lucy and Happy. 	Wow, a thread has been made. I'm not entirely sure what it's about yet. Still need to see the episodes, but a lot of people asked if DB would be subbing it. Bleach, Naruto and One Piece are all requests, so I guess Fairy Tail might get pretty big. -------------------

	Watched second EP. Seems better then the first episode, the animation still feels a little sloppy on some slow panning screens but it's much better for the action ones. But now I have a new urk for the show. The narrator keeps butting in to introduce the characters or the setting and it kinda screws with the flow of things. -------------------

	Maybe just naming them with words onscreen would look better. I like Elfman's look in the anime. One thing I wanted to see from the manga though, was Makarov listing out examples of FT's collateral damage before just saying "screw it". :< Also, kinda surprised that they made the guild point their fingers upwards. ------------------- ·GPF Trainer Cards·New Dawn·SS Trainer Cards·

	I also wanted to see the part in the mountains where Taurus pulled them back up when they were all about to fall down the cliff. It made him seem less useless. And they also took out the part where Natsu burned Macau to save him, the anime seems to take a lot of the heavy emotional scenes out... I guess I should stop comparing the two though. xP And I don't know what would be worst, the guild holding one finger up or them making the "V" sign instead... -------------------

It's a shame they left it out, but so far the anime is delivering it nicely. -------------------

	There are only 13 episodes? The manga is pretty long, I cant believe it is only 13 episodes? chance for a 2nd season? This story is great potential, but one thing was always missing from it... a romance between two of the characters (preferably Lucy and Natsu). Still a great manga, but goes along with One Piece because it is missing a big potential for a love side-story. -------------------
