Is there a turbo/quick start off the line in PGR2 (Similar to SNES: Super Mario Kart)?

It's just because when I play on LIVE, there are some people that seem to be able to accelerate off the line even before the green lights have gone out.

Basically, they'll be at the back of the pack, and before I know it, they've overtaken me before I (or the other cars) get the chance to wheel spin.

THEN, the whole race is basically filled with chatter with drivers asking "How'd you do that?"

Is the turbo start just a glitch, or is it a skill? If it is a skill, could someone please enlighten me?

I haven't played this game in a long time but if I remember correctly it's caused by lag.

I see it happen also, but it's because of Internet speeds. It seems that some might just have a better connection at the moment. So you'll be a bit slower at that particular moment. But that's just something I've heard from people.

yeah, that happens to me...its just because of good internet connection

Some of those peopel get a jump start because they have an older generation x-box

You need to hold and tap the acseleration buton to rev it and that for me gives a boost, the best car for me is a Pigani zonda of a enzo firrari.
