“ I travelled to El Salvador in May of 2001. This trip was one of the most exciting I have ever been on. Unfortunately I was only in the country for 5 days. I was very pleased with my homestay families they were wonderful! I had 2 days of class instruction that were very informative. I visited the Pipil/Mayan ruins in Santa Ana and also took a bus trip from Santa Ana to San Salvador to Usulutan. The country has so much to offer students of any disciple especially thoses interested in Public Health, Conservation, and of course speaking spanish. The best thing about this program is the price! I highly recommend this program as a language immersion. I have been to Costa Rica and Mexico, and El Salvador offers the same if not more. I am currently a senior at SUNY Brockport,Health Science major with a minor in Sociology, the trip was invaluable to me. Try it you will not regret it!
