Got the game the other day and I'm quite liking it.
I've just done a mission where you get attacked by a mad horde of those mutant things. After using my auto-shotgun and AK until they ran out of ammo, I was left with my revolver. It was then I realised that I should have been using this badboy all along!
It takes one or two clean headshots to down a mutant or two or three body shots. The shotgun is awful, I once hit a mutant with 5 shotgun rounds and it was still standing! Also, the revolver is deadly accurate at close range even WITHOUT aiming down the sight.
Am I missing something here?
Oh btw, for this mission I was using a silenced revolver with a rifle stock, but since then I've tried it with the standard and the long range version and they're all the same, despite the fact that the game says having a silencer reduces damage.
