*Updated*

[Giga Chip]

  • FolderBack *

    [Mega Chips]

  • Protoman Version One B
  • Protoman Version Two B
  • Protoman Version Three B
  • Protoman Version Four B
  • Full Custom *
  • Atk+30 *

    [Standard Chips]

  • Slasher x4 B
  • Custom Sword x4 B
  • Variable Sword x4 B
  • AntiSword x2 B
  • Repair x2 *
  • Fast Guage x2 *
  • Invis x3 *
  • Pawn x2 B

    [Programs]

  • HubBatc
  • Reflect
  • Bug Stop
  • Charge +1
  • Speed +1 x2

    [Style]

  • Wood Custom Style

  • Here we go. It's been a while since I've pwned a 2xHero folder.
    1. Repair isn't necessary. 2xHero folders are fast enough that you don't really need to worry about the stage changing, as long as you have defense chips available.

    2. You don't need two FstGauges. One is good enough, and it should be preset.

    3. You only have one type of defense. Invis isn't that reliable when you take FlashMan and Sensor chips into account. Replace the Repair and FstGauge chips you need to take out for Mole2 B/*. It's not that common to go up against folders that break a single panel or that can penetrate Mole, making them more reliable than Invis.

    4. You're leaving an entire row available for the opponent to run in to for safety with only two Pawns, much like my 2xHero Lockdown folder which fixes many, if not all, of these minor errors. Look at putting a couple of Magnum2 B chips in to remedy this.

    5. You don't have any way to power up DeuxHero should you be forced to use it. Although 560 damage is nothing to scoff at, it can do 640 or even 720, depending on how many Atk+10 chips you add to it.

    6.7/10

If you want to compare our 2xHero folders, here's my updated 2xHero Lockdown folder.

    1 FstGauge * [regular]
    1 FoldrBak * (Blue Version)/ProtoMan v5 B (White Version)
    4 Slasher B
    4 CustSwrd B
    4 VarSwrd B
    1 ProtoMan B
    1 ProtoMan v2 B
    1 ProtoMan v3 B
    1 ProtoMan v4 B
    2 Pawn B
    3 Mole2 *
    1 FullCust *
    1 Atk+30 *
    2 Atk+10 *
    2 Magnum2 B

    Style: _____Custom
Navi Customizer: Mega Folder +1, UndrSht, Rush
Strategy: This folder has the potential to do 4,600 damage before Folder Back is necessary to recycle the chips. Note that there are six MegaChips in this folder, so a Team Style (not preferred unless you're trying to get v4 chips) or a Custom Style with a pink MegFldr1 NaviCust program installed is necessary. 2xHero does a base damage of 700, but when you power it up with an Atk+30, it will do 1,000. The best (and cheapest) move this folder has is to use 2xHero, FullCust, and then another 2xHero with an Atk+30 attached to deal 1,700 damage in a matter of seconds. The Pawn chips are present to restrict your opponent's movement, and cause damage at the same time. Note that the 4,600 damage this folder can deal excludes the Pawn chips.

NOTE: Although ProtoMan's sword slashes are different colors during the 2xHero PA, it has been confirmed that they are NOT elemental.

    Pros:

    - When Magnum2 destroys an entire row, the opponent will get damaged by Pawns wherever they go unless they have AirShoes.

    - VarSwrd and ProtoMan are very reliable and versatile both as part of the 2xHero/DeuxHero P.A. and on their own.

    - 2xHero/DeuxHero hits everything in the opponent's area, making your area the only safe place to be.

    Cons:

    - AntiSwrd is this folder's worst enemy.

    - The folder has no way to get rid of Mole, other than to unleash an attack when the opponent comes above ground.

The main suggestions you need are to get your folder down to one code and to find a theme.

    quote Darkhub
How do you use HubBat? i get an error
Simple, you use the ModTools to bypass the error. The error message you get varies based on your style.

    quote Darkhub
my freind has built a deck completly around his new Poltergeist. I mean all of his deck is an object. i think it's stupid. any suggestions?
Using any folder that is focused around quick kills will help you. Besides, you can only hav a certain number of objects out at a time based upon their class, so you don't have to worry too much about Poltergeist; just make sure you have plenty of Invis and Shadows ready. DarkAura wouldn't hurt either.

Any good folder needs a maximum of 2 codes in this game (excluding *). Your folder is decent, but not good. Your main issue is that you have 3 possible strategies, and those are poison, 2xHero, and BodyGrd. Choose one, and then we'll work from there.

Eh, stick with poison. BodyGrd was best utilized in EXE 2. For every EXE after that, it just kept getting weaker and weaker, making it only for support damage.

    re: Folder Ratings IV

Hi all! I'm new to this forum but I love the game and have been reading this thread for awhile and I finally decided to join! I just got the game so I don't have very good chips but I thought up a folder that I want to use once I'm good. So lets see what you think...

    Giga:
    Folderbak * x1

    Mega:
    Protoman v4 B x1
    Protoman v3 B x1
    Bowlman v4 B x1
    Bowlman v3 B x1
    Fullcust * x1 (Preset)

    Standard:
    Custsword B x4
    Varsword B x4
    Slasher B x4
    Navi +20 * x4
    Shadow * x4
    Areagrab * x4

    Style:
    Custom

    Navi Cust:
    Custom 2 x2
    Custom 1 (yellow)
    Fstgauge
    Rush
    Charge/Speed +1 x2

Ex Code: Airshoes or HP +350 if I dont want the bug

Obviously this folder's focus is on the P.A. 2x hero and trapping your opponent. Tried to get the most power/defence I could while still staying in one code for maximum fluidity. Fluidity rocks! Well, please rate this!

P.S. As I said before I am not this far in the game and do not have all of these chips or programs, thus, if anything is impossible on here please tell me so I don't go and try to make it and find no way to do it. Thanks!

I have been working on this folder for a long time and this is that I want the end result to look like.

    rockcube * 4

    godstont S

    areagrab s or * 3

    metlejell3 s 3

    fastguage * regular chip

    randmeter s 3

    shotmeter s 3

    hole * or sensor2 s

    invis * or s 3

saranade s or folderbak * depending on the version

    aura s 2

    northwind s or snctury s

    fire+30 * 3

the idea is to panle lock them and then keep hiting them program advances and meteor chips.

    style custom something

NPC ten chip draw and whetever else you can fit

I am still working on this folder and would like your opinion.

You have two main issues here, overlooking the complete unoriginality of the folder...

  • Navi+20 does NOT work with the 2xHero Program Advance. Use Atk+10 and Atk+30 instead.

  • You're wasting space with your Areagrabs. 2xHero folders are fast (and cheap) enough that grabbing isn't necessary.

Work on getting the V2 and V1 versions of ProtoMan to replace BowlMan. Also, replace your Areagrabs with Invis * and/or Mole2 B. If you really want to use a good 2xHero folder when you get better, then aim for something similar to 2xHero Lockdown.

Thanks for the rating. I'll try to make that folder that you suggested. It sounds good! I'll put a custom 1 or 2 in the navi cust for more chance of getting 2x Hero. Maybe a fastgauge as well... hmmm... good possibilities! Thanks again protoman! I'm sure that folder will rock when I get it!

Btw... why are the Magnums in there for? I know what they do (i'm far enough to know that) but they don't seem to fit into the folder... I'm sure there is a great role they play that I just cant see...

Magnums are there to knock out the row the opponent isn't using so you can lock them down with the Pawns.
