So...what is a Role-Play, anyway? A Role-Play is like an interactive story, with a specific theme. What does 'RP' mean? It is an acronym for Role-Play. I keep seeing people using 'FoT' or 'FoT2'. What does it mean? It means Forest of Time. The numbers on it mean the edition of the thread. I want to be the Clan leader/deputy/medicine cat! These positions are currently filled, and you cannot create a cat with these ranks. If the rank is empty, PM me and I will decide whether or not you may have one of these roles. "May as well see what's up." Autumngaze grunted, pushing herself up to her paws and padding into the clearing. "Tonight, as you all know, is the Gathering." Stareyes continued. "A Gathering? What's that?" Autumngaze yelled. Shocked murmurs rippled through the crowd. "A Gathering is when the cats from all the Clans meet and share news," Lightwhisker told her, "none of the cats fight each other then." "Oh. Thanks." "The cats who will come with me to the Gathering are Ironfur, Peachpelt, Icefire, Steelclaw, Stormcloud, Lightwhisker, Autumngaze, Eaglepaw, Wildpaw, Brownpaw, and Featherpaw. Flametail will be in charge of the camp while we are gone." Stareyes adressed the cats, swept her amber gaze over them, and leapt off the Highrock. Autumngaze halted beside her clanmates. They were approaching the tree-bridge. "WindClan are passing," Lightwhisker told her, pointing her tail towards a group of lithe, thin cats, "ThunderClan and ShadowClan are already on the island." Stareyes nodded her head to a mottled brown tom. "Who's he?" "That's Onestar, the leader of WindClan. The gray she-cat next to him is Ashfoot. She's his deputy." Onestar dipped his head to Stareyes and instructed his Clan to walk along the tree-bridge. When they had finished, it was SunClan's turn to cross. Autumngaze had crossed before, but she was wary about the dark water lapping only a tail-length beneath the bridge. "Do you think there's a reason Stareyes chose me for this Gathering? I've never been to one before." Autummngaze asked Lightwhisker when they had finished crossing the bridge. "She wants strong cats to guard the camp while others go to the Gathering; ShadowClan have attacked another Clan at a Gathering before." "They fought during the Gathering?" "Well, not on the island. They invaded ThunderClan camp, three moons ago." "Will you two come along now?" Ironfur impatiently flicked his tail. "Coming!" Autumngaze pushed through the bush, suddenly overwhelmed by the mingled scent of many cats. "Wow," She breathed, turning to Lightwhisker, "how many cats are here?" "Lots." Lightwhisker didn't face Autumngaze as she spoke. "Let's find a good spot!" Brownpaw prodded Autumngaze with a paw. "Where did you come from?" "I was talking with some other apprentices. Come on! The Gathering's gonna start soon." "Okay, okay." Autumngaze dipped her head to Lightwhisker and followed the apprentice to a grassy spot at the edge of the clearing. "The leaders sit there," Brownpaw flicked her tail towards a large tree with low branches that stood in the middle of the clearing. "They sit on the branches." Autumngaze concluded. "Yeah! Look! RiverClan are here!" Brownpaw stood up, and ran over. She touched noses with a younger apprentice, and said 'hello' to her friends. "Do you want to meet Autumngaze?" "Autumngaze?" "She's my sister's mentor." "Oh. Okay!" Brownpaw lead the apprentices to where Autumngaze sat. "Autumngaze!" Brownpaw yowled. "Yeah?" "I want you to meet my friends!" Tentatively, Autumngaze padded foward and stood beside the younger cats. "This is Petalpaw," Brownpaw began, flicking her tail towards the white apprentice she was talking to earlier, "This Pricklepaw, Beetlepaw, and Grasspaw" She weaved her way around a brown tabby, a ginger-spotted she cat, and a brown tom with green eyes. "The Gathering has begun!" Mistystar yowled from a tree branch." "I will speak first," She continued. "RiverClan is lucky this Leaf-bare. We have four new apprentices, and Icewing is expecting her second litter." Mews of approval rang around the clearing. "The river has frozen somewhat, but we can still fish." "WindClan is also thriving." Onestar stood up and told the cats WindClan's news. "Willowclaw has three kits, and three WindClan apprentices has recieved their warrior names. Sedgeclaw, Thistletail, and Swallowwing are full warriors of WindClan. But we also have some unfortunate news. Barkface has passed on. Kestrelwing is our new medicine cat." "We grieve for Barkface." Firestar dipped his head to the WindClan leader. "ThunderClan is well. the prey is still running, and there is no sickness." A glimmer of doubt flashed in his eyes. What is troubling him? "Foxpaw and Icepaw have earned their warrior names. They are now Icestorm and Foxleap. Tonight they are keeping vigil in the camp. That is all ThunderClan has to report." A cat Autumngaze didn't recongize stood up on her branch. "Blackstar has unfortunatly died from an illness that Flamecloud could not heal. I am the new leader of ShadowClan." "I'm sure you will be a good leader of your Clan, Russetstar." Mistystar dipped her head. "Thank you, Mistystar. Olivepaw and Scorchpaw have earned their warrior names. They are now Olivepelt and Scorchclaw. Snowbird has two healthy kits. But, that is not all I have to report. We feel that SunClan has too many rogues, loners, and kittypets." "What?" Stareyes spoke for the first time at the Gathering. "You have taken in more strays than ThunderClan!" Russetstar spat. "Every cat in SunClan is loyal, from the smallest kit to the oldest elder." Stareyes retorted. "Where'd you pick up that one?" Russetstar turned towards Autumngaze. "They didn't 'pick me up'. I was in the forest. Some SunClan cats found me, and I requested they take me to their leader. Scourge was ruling over SunClan at the time, and he wanted strong warriors. He offered me a postition in his Clan, and I accepted. I am a loyal cat to SunClan." Autumngaze meowed, suprised that her voice wasn't shaking. "Hmm." Russetstar snorted. "The Gathering is over." 	Emberwolf was wondering around in a strange forest. Then he saw a big shelter so he wandered in and went to sleep. A dusk patrol was renewing the border and came across a strange scent so they followed it and it lead into the old twoleg nest. A twig snapped. "Whos there!"Brownfeather asked who or what was out there. There was a russell and then the biggest badger the sisters have seen came out and turned to Brownfeather. "Go tell the others!"Brownfeather told Wildwish.Wildwish ran into camp.Brownfeather jumped on the badger but she was to slow and the badger bit her neck.Brownfeather was able to claw the badgers eyes and get free.Blood came from Brownfeathers neck but she didn't give up and jumped on the badgers back digging her claws into the back of the beast. The badger backed up and blocked the camp entrance. The badger flung Brownfeather off again. But Brownfeather was determined not to quit. The badger was able to bit her neck again but this time harder. The badger dropped her and Brownfeather saw maple fur. Maplepaw!By the time she was there it was dawn. Maplepaw jumped and bit the badgers neck and Crane came to help her then they let go and the badger went away. "Brownpaw!"Maplepaw yelled and went to her sisters side. The Sunclan warriors came and Wildwish went to Brownfeather's side. "Brownfeather!"Wildwish called. Brownfeather looked at Maplepaw. "I knew you wound come back I just knew it."Brownfeather said in a weak tone. "Brownfeather,don't die!"Maplepaw yelled to her sister while the sunclan warriors and the cats Maplepaw had brong just stood were they where. "It is my time and I just wish I could of come with you."Brownfeather told her sister. Stareyes,Icefire,Hawkflower and Falmetail where there be side there dying sister. "It is her time to go and we have to live with that."Wildwish said to the cats. "Wildwish is right I will see you all one day.Good bye my friend and family."Brownfeather said then lied lifeless withe her eyes closed. "Maplepaw I'm so sorry."Racer stepped forward to say. "Maplepaw who are these cat?"Stareyes asked with teeth bared. "There friend.This is Racer."Maplepaw said pointing towards Racer. "This is Crane and Misty."Maplepaw meowed pointing towards The white she cats"And these are Golden and Sweet."Maplepaw finished pointing to wards the brother and sister. 	" Yay! we'll have more warriors!! " yowled Eaglepaw. " Yes we will and they will be welcome. " said Stareyes. " Thanks " said Misty. " Now were will we sleep? " asked Misty. " Well you and Golden will sleep in there " Stareyes pointed her tail " And Sweet and Crane will sleep in there " Stareyes said and pointed her tail again. " Eaglepaw will you fetch some moss for them oh also maybe get some fresh kill if you have time. " said Stareyes. Eaglepaw was racing away and stopped she smelt mouse she went seeking forward and noticed it was dead so she buried it she would come back later to get it. So she found some moss and rolled it into a ball. Then she smelt vole so she sneaked up on it and pounced she easily killed it with a quick bite on the neck she was going back to her mouse when she heard cawing and there was a raven they are very hard to catch but she wanted to try so she sneaked up and pounced. Eaglepaw had caught it! So she went back to camp. When she came the cats guarding said " You caught that?! " Eaglepaw nodded since she had a mouth full of fur and feathers. She dropped it in the fresh kill pile took the mouse she caught and started eating then all the sudden everything went black and she was gasping for breath...

"Cat of Sunclan Maplepaw has come back and with friends for the clan.Golden,Sweet and Racer it is tradion they you will get mentors and you apprentice names till you are warriors so Golden you will be known as Goldenpaw and you mentor will be Steelclaw.Lean what he has to teach you,you are in good paws. Sweet till this moment till you get you warrior name you will be known as Sweetpaw and your mentor will be Icefire. Icefire is Maplepaw's sister so you know you can trust her. Racer till you get your warrior name you will be known as Racingpaw and your mentor will be Boulderpelt.He may be young but his heart is in the right place."Stareyes finished giving Sweetpaw,Goldenpaw and Racingpaw there names and mentors and now she will be doing a warrior ceremony. "Crane you and your sister seem old enough to be a warrior now Crane do you and Misty promise to protect and defend your clan even at the cost of your lives?"Stareyes asked the sisters. "I do!"Each one of them said. "Then by the powers in me I give you you warrior names. Crane from this moment forward you will be known as Cranefoot. Misty from this moment for ward I give you your warrior name of Mistypelt.Both of you may be warriors be both of you will still know how to fight like a clan cat so now every time Flametail is helping his apprentice Mistpelt will go with him and every time Autumngaxe go out with her apprentice Cranefoot you will go with her."Stareyes said and jumped down from the high rock.

	Stareyes was walking back to her den and heard a weird noise so she followed it and there was Eaglepaw lying there limbs slayed out just breathing barely and a half eaten mouse beside her so she raced into the medicine cat den and yowled " Peachpelt! Help Eaglepaw! " and Peachpelt came and she said " Whats wrong? " " Its Eaglepaw a mouse was poisoned. " ansered Stareyes and she came to the fresh kill pile there was Eaglepaw barely alive " I'll get some nettle seeds. " and raced into her den came back out raced over to Eaglepaw put the nettle seeds in her mouth " Swallow it. " said Peachpelt. Eaglepaw swallowed and fell limp still breathing.

"But why do you want her dead?'Maplepaw asked leaning towards her. Wildwish turned and her eyes looked as cold as ice in leaf bare. "I want to be the next medicine cat I knew when Brownfeather was going to die!I knew about what happened with the flood and I know that the worst has just begun."Wildwish said and turned her head back towards Eaglepw.

"I'm Maplepaw the daughter of Spottedfire and Runningclaw."Maplepaw said with teeth bared. Kinkfur smiled and jumped on Maplepaw. Maplepaw felt teeth grip her ear.Blood dripped down and she saw her clan mates fight as well. It has been so long that I had a fight. Maplepaw clawed at Kinkfur's chest and felt more weight on her back. The other cats came up and now are fighting beside there Shadowclan den mates. Starclan help us!!

	Eaglepaw was asleep again she was having a dream she was in the forest and heard yowling and cries of pain. Then she woke up " I have to go in the forest cats are in trouble! " yowled Eaglepaw. " No you can't. " said Peachpelt. " I need to! " plead Eaglepaw. " Ok, but bring warriors with you. " said Peachpelt. Eaglepaw heaved herself up she felt better called a patrol of warriors and went racingaway it was like in her dream she heard yowling and cries then she saw shadow clan attacking a patrol. Then the patrol yowled a battle cry and jumped in the battle...

	"Maplepaw!"Wildwish ran over and jumped on Tigermask,the cat that was on Maplepaw. Maplepaw was clawing at Kinkfur and then saw more Sunclan warriors. Kinkfur jumped and landed on Maplepaw's chest.Maplepaw was clawing at his belly then flattened her paws against his belly and then lifted her legs up fast and high.Kinkfur flung off and rolled back. Maplepaw got to her feet them jumped on Tigermask.He was holding her sister,Wildwish down. Maplepaw dug her claws into his back and hung on. Tigermask was running trying to get her off. Tigermask flung Maplepaw off and Maplepaw hit Eaglepaw.Eaglepaw clawed her for a heart beat then she turned to face her den mate. "What the big deal?I'm on your side!"Maplepaw yelled at the she-cat. "Sorry I didn't know it was you."Eaglepaw said to Maplepaw. "Then look before you act!"Maplepaw yelled at her and pushed Eaglepaw into a Shadowclan warrior then Maplepaw went off to fight.
