Just to clarify Fruscainte (Sorry if I came across as a dick in my last post) it's an idea that most have posed, even myself in the past, but what Lone said sums it up.

don't make it seem like a competition, because then people would end up posting just to get themselves put in the footer for more subscriptions. keep it subtle, and just reward people every now and then for their contributions to the thread.

i meant like, using the word award will make people look at it as something to win, as a competition.


edit: oh and whichever mod deleted my post and sent me the message about a ban, pm me please, i'm interested to know which threads i derailed except for the obvious one. and make sure you do pm me and not post here, i'd hate to derail another thread.
