It's pretty standard and nice, just like any Stoner Platform AR should be.

I like it.

SCAR kills it with damage though.

M4 acts like real life...low recoil...great handling (speed in game), and good 5.56 power.

I prefer the M4 over the SCAR. I can kill people all day long with an M4, but I have horrible luck with the SCAR.

Hard to test the which is better gun ain't it?

The SCAR may be the weapon of choice in ones hands while the M4A1 is uber in anothers hands.
I don't find much difference between the two. Although I agree I can feel the higher power from the SCAR. It just never seems to be as reliable in every situation as the M4A1. (quicker to the sights and quicker trigger maybe?)

I've mastered the M4A1 (got the title thing) and really enjoy using it with Holographic and Heartbeat, will be moving onto my newly unlocked M16 however

The M4's only weakness is its damage. If youre not precise with it, you burn what little extra ammo you get over the Scar just getting one kill.

It has great accuracy, ammo, and stopping power if you can cluster your shots to the head and chest area, but if you end up burning rounds into the shoulders or lower body, you can burn half, if not all of a clip into someone before they go down.


The Scar has some serious recoil and can be dreadful on the accuracy in spray and pray situations. It does take significantly less of a burst to kill someone though, so if you make your shots count and are surgical with it, the Scar is deadlier than the M4.

If you arent a good shot though, the lesser starting ammo count than the M4 can put a serious crimp in any killstreak plans you may have had.

Good Summary.

I think I'm at about 1900 kills, 1100 of them with the M4A1. My accuracy is slightly over 21%. I'm finding this weapon to be very effective from every range. Ammo though. . ack!! Although a high percentage of my shots hit, it can take a lot to drop a guy. 5 kills and I'm very low on ammo, and I'm now depending on my secondary.

Although I've stayed away from Scavenger this whole time, extended mags have been a welcome addition for me and my M4A1 relationship.
