We all know someone who sits in a corner waiting for someone to walk by and kill them is camping. But would you say, if your walking down a hill and you see someone coming up, you jump behind a barrel and kill them when they appear, is that camping?

Or even shooting out of a window in a building, some of my mates when they get killed by people in buildings, say like *bleep*ing camper, but it isn't really is it?

Not really no.
I class camping as, stayin in the same spot between kills. If your moving and you see someone so you hide behind a barrell, that isnt camping as you were moving around in the first place.

You know when people are camping, as the replay of your death will show them in a corner already pointing the cross hair at where you are going to arrive.

Maybe thats just my opnion. Whatever it is, its bloody annoying.

Camping is when A group of People or yourself even, Just hides in a spot for about half the Match, never dieing and killing everyone that's comes near them.

Like I was playing a TDM in Estate, A little building beside the Big wooden House, there were about 5 of these guys With Snipers on the Top and bottom Floor, They just Sniped everyone one us until I decided That I'll get a Sniper Myself and Pick the Bastards myself.

Getting a tent, going into a field and spending the night

Its alot of fun, you should try it!

Sitting in one corner all game and picking off stragglers that just run pass. Only time I lie down with my sight up is if I'm playing HQ

personally i would class camping as sitting in a corner/corridor/narrow passage, so that it gives you a great advantage over whowever may walk into your line of site. (although campers can be dealt with, with a flash bang or a frag). I would not consider a camper someone who sits at a window sniping, granted that staying in the same spot for a while isnt a great idea, also, hiding behind something waiting for your enemy to walk past, isn't camping, i believe that's called an ambush

Yeah there is actually a thin line between camping and sniping.

I was sniping on wastelands and got slated for being a camper after the game, even though I kept moving about otherwise they would know where I was.

I just put it down to the fact I was battering them!

i am a camper. yes ive sed it i camp. u wana know y i camp.....coz i get loadsa kills and dont die alot. and thats what your meant to do! camping is staying in one area taking out anyone u see. if the opponents were smart they wud realise where i was and take me out but nooooo, instead they send me messages insulting me coz they cant figure out that camping is the best way to do well in this game and its thanks to those idiots that i keep gettin kills coz they keep letting me kill them...

enough of my ranting.....and btw.if u r using a sniper u cannot be accused of a cmaping, full stop. u r a sniper, ur meant to hide in one spot and be unknown thats what sipers do.

im sorry ive been insulted so much coz im good at a game because of my playin stlye. im sick of it

I cant standing Camping .. My friend does it all the time cause he doesnt want to die? I try and explain <---make fun...its war.. its not called survive the match without dying... it really gets me when I'm omn a good kill streak and camper (not a sniper) gets me...to add one more kill to the two he already has....SMH

Yeh its nice to have a nice kill to death ratio but lets face it, campers are losers. They just bad at the game full stop. I have turtle beach x3's, so it would be easy for me to just camp but i would rather run around in tdm and earn kills. It's so much more fun =]. But s&d is slightly different as you have to play more tactically. But campers really do p*ss me off.

Just because they camp doesn't mean they are bad... I used to camp in COD 4 and when i got bored i go out and tear people apart with a Desert Eagle
