People on the IW forums are complaining about the maps, I think they're great and much better than in COD4 & WaW, thoughts?

I think Wasteland is horrible and just comes down to camping the center of the map.

I quite like the maps i think wasteland is one of the worst but its not too bad for snd where is the turret in here

I like the retro Brecourt feel to it, but you're right. The choke point in the middle is just too pronounced in gameplay.

I think the maps will grow on everyone. I HATED Favela when the game first came out, but it's probably my new favorite now that I've unlocked some decent secondary weapons and silencers.

What's everyones beef with Wasteland? Man that map is sweet as a nut, had a 27 kill streak there earlier. The trenches make it seem very WWII

Wasteland is definitely one of the best maps when you don't get the other team just using the heat-vision sniper things. It's unbelievably annoying and it completely eliminates the whole object of the map.

I also hate the raining map, there is no strategy at all to that map and it is all a matter of luck in my opinion... I find that other maps are easier than others with certain guns/layouts, so I usually find a good layout for each map. The raining map though, I barely get positive ratios and not very many kills... my average k/d on that map is like 5-3 (I use sniper on that map)

What's the raining map? Care to give a bit more detail of it?

Its like 'Undertow' or summat like that, it really is a shit map.

I don't like most of the maps. There's just no 'classics'. On Cod4 there was Crossfire, Crash, Strike, Backlot... all maps that are really fun and you enjoy playing on. I don't really 'enjoy' any maps on this game, bar a couple.

I enjoy the game though so I guess they can't be that bad.
