Hi, i've got the Sentry Gun as one of my killstreas but i don't get how it works. When i get the Sentry gun i press R1 and throw that thing right in front of me then about 5 seconds latter my Sentry Gun ends up on the roof of the map and i'm unable to get to it.
Please can you tell me how this perk works. ------------------- | |

It should stay where you placed it and fire automatically at enemies...

You have to throw the canister on an open area so the carrier plane can drop it down to you.

At first it'll drop a crate, you open the crate and get the gun out then you can position it how you like.

Anybody else disappointed with the sentry gun? I would have thought it would take a grenade/rocket or a lot of gunfire to take them down, but a single hit with a knife destroys them =\

They're only good if you're tactical about how you place them. If you manage to get the placement of one right it can rack up the kills for you. Say, somewhere in a corner on a hill so grenades will roll away and nobody can get it from the back. But yeah, they don't take much to eliminate.

I only just figured out last night you can pick them up and move them after they are placed.

Every time I got the predator missile I got one kill,with a sentry gun,2...Doesn't make much difference for me.

i always use....
