Hello out there, everyone.

I've been super frustrated this morning (now afternoon). I went to bed last night and downloaded COD:MWF2 for PC, in the hopes that when I wake up this morning, I could devote the rest of my weekend to exploring the game.

To my dismay, I started up the game and cannot for the life of me, figure out how to make the game recognize my controller. I've been looking around online for almost 3 hours just looking for a thread or something because, surely someone else has had this problem.

Anyhow, I've done the usual stuff, restart the PC, reinstall the driver software for the controller, etc. Still nothing.

There is a limited interface for controller options within the game and I've done everything I know how to do.

I'm not the most PC savvy person in the world, but this should be a no-brainer.

Has anyone else out there experienced this issue as well? If so, what the hell do I do to get it working?

ANY help would be apprecited... any thoughts you may have would be appreciated also.

BTW: I've used the controller for several other games and have had no other problems, so it's not the controller itself.

I see a lot of people viewing this thread, but no responses.

Can you guys tell me if your playing the game with a wireless controller. If so, which one (make/model).

Also, was the controller just recognized? Or did you have to do something to make it work, if so, what did you do?

I'm just trying to figure this one out logically.

There's also USB cord you can hook it up to the PC with.

So the problem is that it is a wireless controller?

Can you tell me why that matters?

Well I'm not sure if your PC could just 'pick up' the wireless controller. It was designed for use with the Xbox 360. However, the controller I showed you and the USB cable should work.

Umm....if your PC doesn't have anything special on it, then it won't just pick up the wireless controller.

My PC is having the same problem, I just gave up and bought it for 360.

No, it's not that the controller doesn't have the capability to link up. This is the controller I've got:

Is there anyone out there that is using the controller in the link above for use with modern warfare 2?

I haven't heard much discussion on it throughout the web and I know a lot of people use this controller, so I'm lost as to what I'm doing wrong.

Anyone else using the same controller as I am, please respond.

BTW: Yes, I do have the usb receiver plugged in and all lights on both device and receiver are on in the normal positions.
