I actually never played Zombies. I didn't like W@W all that much so I never bothered unlocking Zombies but from what I've heard it was a real popular and fun mode.
In a way Spec Ops is the MW2 equivalent to Zombies. I love Spec Ops. Especially playing with a friend but if you have played Zombies which do you think is best?
I'm just curious.

I did play zombies and I didn't think it was that great. It got a bit tedious after a while. You can only shoot so many nazi zombies before you get fed up.

I've only tried a few of the spec ops so far with my brother and I have to say, they're quite good. You get a lot of variety whereas the zombies was just repetitive.

I prefer Spec Ops

I liked zombies but I didn't go crazy about it like all my friends did and a lot of other people in the forum. It just didn't appeal to me THAT much and I saw it as a tedious way of killing people who keep respawning whilst you were in a house. But that's a little unfair, since I didn't buy any of hte map packs and the otehr zombies levels had great reviews.

BUT....

Spec Ops, I find so much better. There is VARIETY and it's harder in a way... it's really addictive, especially when you get different difficulties.

both were fun for a bit. zombies just got too repetitive and specs ops doesnt build any tension or atmosphere which really lets it down big time. its fun but cant see me going back to it after completion

Zombies was fun the first couple of times I played it, but eventually it was only good with mates, whereas I'm enjoying Spec Ops a lot more and I'm playing it a lot more then I did Zombies.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Zombies.
Spec Ops is, I don't know, doesn't have the flair of Zombies. If any friend asks me, I'm still up for zombies. (Well later, no one is taking me away from MW2 for a while!)

I'd happily play both to be honest.

Zombie is great fun with a group of you, but Spec Ops is amazing if you have someone good to play with. Very tactical.

Spec ops is not really equivalent to zombies IMO. I enjoyed a blast on zombies from time to time but spec ops is just fantastic, hard to put into words you need to play it to understand it's qualities.

Zombies is like Wii......it's ONLY good for friends.


It's the friends and our talking and jokes that makes the game fun....


But Spec Ops is fun on its own no matter if you play with or without others.

spec ops is really fun and all but i love zombies way more.

if they made a zombies for MW2 with all the modern weapons then id probably die of happieness. i think it would turn out way better than spec ops. just my opinion though

I thought Nazi Zombies was more light hearted and fun than spec ops.

From a technical stand point Spec Ops is a lot better but i prefer Nazi Zombies just because it's a little bit silly and more laid back.

I'm a huge zombie freak, so I gota say Nazi Zombies.
Spec Ops offer a stern challenge though, considering how easy veteran campaign was. They are seriously tough! lol

With friends.. the stealth missions in Spec Ops only and Nazi Zombies, just because we'd be laughing at each other.

With one friend or by yourself, then definitely Spec Ops.
