Ok, I unlocked the emergency airdrop in hopes that it'll be sweet to have 4 supply crates to unlock and get something cool to use! However, in reality, this never happens and I only get to open 1 supply crate. This is because each time I used it, my teammates steal the other 3 and I only get to open 1.

Granted I could drop my stuff off at another location, but seriously how often do you find yourself in the middle of nowhere in the game?

So I have a few questions:
1) How long does it take for your teammates and enemies to open a supply crate? It takes me about 1 sec but how long does it take for other people to open it?

2) What are some strategies I can use so no one steals my supply crates?

I think the whole point of the emergency airdrop is to benefit your team as a whole, not just yourself.

Ugh, that's lame. Wish I could have known that before I wasted a killstreak unlock.

Whenever I've used an E Drop I've gotten the crates to myself. Granted, I usually only use air drops when I'm on the edge of the map, so neither friend nor foe can steal.

I had one bounce off a street lamp and land on top of me. Kinda embarrassing to say the least.

Supply drop in secluded areas. Emergency airdrop is to help you and the team...don't be so dense and selfish.

Just keep it away from enemies.

Its supposed to promote teamwork, you solo-soldier you!

Well I've only had the care package but I always use it in a secluded area. I usually play Domination so I'll just go behind A/C and do it there.

I do enjoy stealing other peoples crates though. I just got the Challenge for calling in 10 Pave Lows and I know at least half, if not more, were from other peoples crates.

I've also had two crates kill my teammates. Happened in the same game too. First time I called it and some guy who was level one (so he probably didn't know what was going on) walked over and looked at the red smoke and the crate fell onto him. My friend and I both witnessed that and had a good laugh. Then, in my next life I was up some stairs and called it outside. It rolled down the stairs and killed that same friend.

I got killed by ONE...the first time I called it in. Because I saw the red smoke I popped and I was like "what is this thing" and went to go look at it...and of course the inevitable happens.

My buddy's airdrop went over the bank of the river and ended up under water. It was funneh.

I got a Care Package on Underpass, and accidentally landed it on the huge bridge

So I look up, and what do I see? AC-130 logo above the bridge. FML
