Fox News is at it again. This time they held a "fair and balanced" debate on whether or not the terrorism level in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was going too far and whether the game itself is too violent.

Wow, didn't they learn their lesson from the whole Mass Effect sex scene thing where they don't do their friggin' research on what they're talking about ?

Your character is doing it as an undercover operative for the CIA. If anything, this mission brings into question what undercover agents can and cannot do when they're undercover.

I was about to say that. I mean..I have nothing against 8 year old's seeing R-Rated movies...playing M-rated games...but if they are doing it then it means that either their parents let them....or they aren't watching their kids close enough (either from Trust or negligence.) The developers and the game itself cannot be blamed for its content when it has ratings like that. If so...then I demand Fox go after every television show, movie, and music album that comes out from now on.
But let's remember, these news people are not as dense and stupid as we sometimes think they are. They appear this way because they don't care...they just want stories that are interesting and can attract people to give views/ratings. The only way we get their attention is by threatening their careers. Just like we killed that woman's book reviews.

The lady had it coming. Anybody who goes on a nationally-syndicated news program and starts talking about something they knows nothing about has no business giving life advice to anybody.

You guys are letting fox troll you so hard. They want to grab people's attention, so they cite 8 year old terrorists. They want to present an opinion supported by the majority of the general public, video game violence = real world violence. They want viewers and knee-jerk comments, so they marginalise gamers. Guess who gives them traffic telling them how stupid they are; gamers. We know they're simply chasing audiences, no point getting all worked up about it, just laugh it off and go play some 360, ffs.

That said, there are 8 year old terrorists/freedom fighters out there (Africa is notorious for shoving an AK-47 into an 8 year old's hands), although I think I can just about state that this wasn't a result of playing a level on a video game.
I'm not defending Fox and this segment, just saying that the concept of an 8 year old terrorist is feasible and exists

I agree with that. Especially the spoiler. You as the player really didn't have to do anything until you actually got outside to the SWAT team that was shooting back at you.
