i have actually never been more let down by hype in all my life, i heard and was expecting this completely amazing game........in my opinion i got modern warfare with updated graphics, but then again they did have a year and a half to sort that, and thats all they could do?

the multiplayer is a complete sham, the maps are way too big, and convoluted! spend more time running or being shot from random spawns than actual tactical gaming! also even though with apparently 300,000 people online, infinity ward cant find me a game with more than two bar connection(and dont worry its not my internet connection)

also the emblems and the titles things, pointless? i actually couldnt think of a more pointless thing!, and every gun just appears to be the same as the next.

i can live with most of those problems, but really..........the SIZE OF THE MAPS!!, ridiculous, modern warfare was all about tight, close quarter fighting, thats what made it so good, and i dont remember there being a million steps, or stairways, or balconys, on openings, or balconys, or overhangs, or fences, or vehicles. the maps for mw2 are just confusing to say the least, running everywhere, just to get picked off by someone who has just spawned! its ridiculous, its actually boring. i turned it off after like two hours, and then instantly though, i wonder if anyone is on modern warfare, abit of pipeline or downpour with its SIMPLE, COMPETITIVE, NON CLUTTERED MAPS..........would go down a treat, NOT OVER FILLED, MASSSIVE, USELESS, GET LUCKY MAPS!

Really? I find the maps closer to the smaller side than the bigger side of things.



Edit: Well there are a lot of balconies and whatnot but you'll learn those in time.

me personally, i just wind it pointless wandering, and then get shot by some noob, no correlation, just random buildings, with random stairs or overhangs, no shape to the thing. but hey......each to their own, but i was really disappointed, i thought the multiplayer was going to be epic. will if u loved the world at war maps, then ull love these, they are just as useless.

aw come on, it doesnt really deserve 10 out of 10 in all the reviews? its a huge disappointment to what they could or should have done, and really the multiplayer maps are soooo distracting or annoying, they really do just go round in circles. may ill warm to it. i really hope so, because i waited over a year for this, (at present, crap)

Hey...it's a different game...new stuff....different obstacles to adapt to and overcome with your playing style.


First you complain that MW2 is just MW with updated graphics.

Then you praise MW for its map size.....

So which is it then? You can't say "this is bad because it's the same" and "it's bad because it's different" at the same time.

The modern battlefield is not always some huge clear field. Negotiating obstacles is part of war fighting.

It's just something new to get used to. CoD4 has been out for two years, and we're all used to that. The two games aren't identical, you need to adjust to it.

Dude whatever, I honestly don't care either way. Just making a point that you coming here bitching about the fact you got yourself over excited isn't gonna change any of our minds or make any difference to anything.

Apparently your idea of an excellent game is a game where you can simply run around shooting everything at sight like a lunatic. Emblems and Titles may seem pointless but they do add to the games life and make a challenge for some to try and get a specific one.

Have you tried to stop "running" and being careful? Maybe you'll die less and decrease the running time. It's not a run and gun type of game after all.

If that's not your type of game then you have probably made a mistake, I hear Halo still has a lot of players online maybe you should try that?

This game is going to be in the MLG Pro curcuit next year suck it up!
