	Log in to remove this advertisement I've been struggling a lot with the maneater, I'm trying to determine if I need to level up more or if it's in my technique. I'm at soul level 57 and I am generally using my broadsword +8.. I'm mainly melee focused but I do have some magic power.. and this guy is kicking my butt. I can generally get the first one down to half health but once the second one appears I'm generally toast, since at some point they gang up on me. I use the technique of standing behind the fire pot thing in the center which works okay, the issue is when the 2nd one will land behind me and then I'm kind of stuck. I do have the thieves ring on, which seems to help a little bit. I learned warding but that doesn't do me much good since I can only use it 2 times before it used up the entirety of my magic. I've used every technique I've read and have not succeeded. I'm debating doing the bow thing from behind the fog but I'd rather not if I don't have to I'd go elsewhere but everywhere else is giving me issues. The ninjas in 1-3 are evil. I've completed the second world.. I despise the 4th world and 5-2 seems equally difficult with those reapers. Do I need to do some more soul farming and start leveling up my characters in magic, or perhaps put more into strength or dexterity. I feel like I'm at the level necessary to complete this but I'm getting pwned every time. Thanks! EDIT: Nevermind. I discovered the meat cleaver and the boss was a cinch. 	U never have to farm just do the easy ones first get a friend to help u using a mAge it's easy mode in demon souls

	I just beat him on new game+++(+?) I'm a dagger build so it was a massive pain. I eventually won through skill, I managed to make one fly away before the other landed and kept that up until I killed one. This boss is not easy with a dagger, I used knight's shield +10 to block his ram and his punches, and just dodged the magic, took so many tries though I even had to get alive so I could take a bit more damage. I'm going for the unique weapon trophy and I needed the old kings soul, it should be so easy after the man eater, as a dagger build human types are easy, it's the monsters that are a pain.

	False King is really a fun duel, but is far too easy. Maneater isn't even a fair fight if you use a melee class.

	Don't remember the SL , but I will see once Im done playing Dark Souls. As for the Build... I'm running a DEX build using Uchi's whit Shaman Armor and No Shield
