Ping is like Sonar, it send out a small message to the other persons computer, how long it takes it to get there and back it called the Ping, and its measured in MS (milli-seconds).

Try playing someone who lives nearer to you or someone with a equilly as fast connection, and with the same frame rate.

Do you play through GameSpy arcade? if not I highly recommend getting it
