Lol... Newsflash dude, all civs have villiagers. Villiagers are the essence of all civilisations. Think about it, without gathering resources you wouldn't be able to power an empire. Pathetic... you should play a little more of the game before you post something

[b]Spanish kick ass cause they can do anything![/b] Conquistadors shoot down all infantry, cannons, trebs, and rams level towns, and not to mention their navy is the best the game has to offer (along with the vikes) They can research all monk techs and get all the blacksmith upgrades without wasting gold. They trade better than other civilizations too. Just crank out an army of conquistadors, and rams packed with fully upgraded champions and your set to take down anything. Not to mention a few missionaries to keep up with you conquistadors and heal you up when your tired:D:D
Chinese are also good cause they get the cheap techs
Japs samurais are pretty frickin awesome too, they got a nice navy and stellar infantry. Trebs also get the bonus
Mayans and Aztecs do okay but nothing special without gunpowder and cavalry.
I don't use the Brits often but they're decent too

Definitely Spanish.

The conquistadors are my favourite unit in the game, I just love to have them, to move them, to control them and to kill the enemies. Also the Spanish are the only civilization to have all non-gold costing units fully upgraded, their advantages are really good and the cannon galleon is magnificent.

And last but not least... Spain is my favourite country in real life as well....... after Bulgaria which is AGAIN missed but it should have been a civ in AoE 2: the Conquerors

my favourites civilisation's would be britain's, persians, huns, spanish and the chinese.

Britains: they dont have good technology but those longbowman are very effective in groups such as 30 or so, with monks behind them

Persians: There good for taking down buildings and walls.
But are incredibly slow and can easily be taken down by halberdiers

Huns: Huns are good when mixed up with different sorts of cavalry especially Cavalry archers and hussars but can be taken down 1 by 1 in skirmishers

Chinese: The archers are very strong in a group and as an individual but are very short range, by the time u get to a skirmisher or longbowman there gone.

Turks mainly because of the Janissary units and because the Turks specialities power them up. They are awesome against infantry from some distance so if u have a front line of infantry yourself with Janissaries behind them then your set. I also like that they are balanced and have minimal weaknesses.

I also love the Huns because you dont have to build houses, thats so awesome. 1 less thing to worry about and u can make villagers quickly to grow fast etc. Never actually tried other civilisations but these two suit my style of play
