What is your favorite unique unit?

Like the title says, what is your favorite unique unit (That only particular civilizations can build, such as, only Aztecs can build Jaguar Warriors, or only Persians can build War Elephants, or only Franks can build Throwing Axemen)?

Mine would be ELITE WAR WAGONS. They may not be strong, but with 30 or more, they can raze buildings better than trebuchets, and they are short AND long distance units.

My second would be Elite War Elephants, even if they are extremely slow and expensive, they are extremely strong which makes up for it. Persians, IMO, are only good in multiplayer battles, simply because War Elephants are almost too expensive for single player battles. I can only do this with trade carts using markets, or using 3+ relics.

So, what're yours?

Persian elephants.
They can kill ANYTHING

The one's that run into things and blow themselves up, they are heaps awesome. I can't remember what they are called though.

petards aren't unique

plus i don't like them, they usually blow up before you get to castles unless you have a big group, then you can get like 5 across to blow up the castle

My favorite is Teutonic Knights, just so powerful. Or Longbowmen, Range is massive and in masses can kill even there counters before they get close

Jondog, I really like the War Wagons too. Good speed, hitpoints, attack, armour and range -- and a reasonable price too (no food, most importantly: essentially food comes "from" wood later in the game, so wood is much quicker to gather). Perhaps the only ranged units that can (at least in large groups) hold their own against even skirmishers and mangonels.

After them, conquisidators, janissaries and the archer units generally are good.

Woad's. They tend to be underestimated but they can be quite a nuisance to deal with. They can intercept any flanking maneuver on my main siege army and then whatever they have that got caught up in the woads tends to disintegrate under the fire of several scorpions (No friendly splash ) They harass well and get away with it. They can suicide onto any long ranged counters to my army and they train fast enough to be replaced easily.
