somebody please help me out,
for some reason the computer fired my coach who had a rating of 100 in franchise season 2009. then they signed M.TICE from the texans and now i can't do any of my normal functions like ordering the depth chart, re-signing players, ect. how do i fix this problem? can i fix this problem? i when to my management feature under coach options and it says that the user is supposed to make all the changes and now it says that i can only modifiy user-controled teams... which now my coach isn't coaching anyone... please email me at FLAPPY$@AOL.COM if you can help me with this problem...

had the same problem. first thing make sure when creating franchise the coaching changes are set to on. whatever you do stay away from the job openings option because when i clicked on it, my created coach was fired and thats when i ran into the same problem.all the options said user controlled but i was still locked out. the job openings option must fire the coach and the computer reasigned one i had no control over. I always create my own coach now . from the screen after you pick your team(real or created team doesnt matter) click the X again and a box pops up.SELECT COACH choose new coach option with new name and stay away from the job openings option in the coach options section. Worst part is when this happened to me after couple of hours of trying to fix this problem only thing i could do was start my franchise over and pick new coach. i was only couple weeks in so wasnt so bad . hope you dont lose much if this is the only way out of that problem. good luck.
