Do you ever use the gems to save you? I've got like 30 at the moment so most of the time I just use one unless I have an aneurysm and *bleep* up within like 500m. I'd never be sad enough to actually purchase them though - which is a feature that is ruining the competitiveness in games these days, but will never go away.

I genuinely don't believe I'd ever care about a game so much that I'd spend actual money to better myself at it.

yeah of course. upgrade the power up that involves the gems and eventually you can use it about 3 times in a game and only use up 3 gems. i'll only start using them if i get to about 5/6 million without dying though
