I love Rocky, but he just came out with most of the same stuff he did against Cena, but worded it differently. I know its what you expect from him, which whilst it might still make you laugh when he says it, you know its all coming. Punks boxing with god line was brilliant, and it made Rock finally take notice of the promo imo
As much as I'd love The Rock to be champ again, I don't think someone who has had a match twice in 7/8 years should win the title. Especially as he'd be ending the longest running title reign of the modern era.
Was very disappointed with RAW, not really a shock though considering most of them are shit now.
The whole Del Rio/Big Show thing that opened the show was crap and very boring. Vince just stood there like a mong through most of it.
Orton vs Wade was good. Was shocked to see Orton lose clean, very rare thing to happen. Glad Wade is finally getting a decent push, should become a dominant champion in his position, ready for a push to the main event scene soon, he definitely has the potential to perform in that role.
The Team Hell No segment back stage was very good, with them all shouting YES YES YES YES. They need more segments like that, because Kane and Bryan get very boring as a tag team if they aren't being funny.
Not shocked to see Eve lose the title and quit, been rumoured for a while and it's been on the story for about 5 months that Kaitlyn was finally going to win the title, just wonder who's going to step up as her main contender now. Maybe AJ goes into a proper Diva roll, where she wins a title, Big E wins a title and Dolph gets the WHC, will make a bit more of a purpose to their little random trio.
Punk vs Brodus was decent, nice to see Punk pull out the anaconda vice and win the match. Decent little promo after as well.
Both the Kane and Bryan matches were shit and obvious out comes, both had poor finishes as well.
The cage match was decent, just *bleep*ing annoying that they make Cena kick out of everything Dolph throws at him, yet he can pin him with just one AA. If they're serious about Dolph as a main eventer and holding the title, they need to stop making Cena kick out of absolutely everything he throws at him, then pin him after 3 moves. Wouldn't hurt to let Ziggler kick out of an AA every now and again, maybe make him tap to the STF once in a while, if they insist on Cena winning every encounter between them.
The Rock was quite funny, his song to Vickie was good, but like jimbo_bwfc said, why waste heat on her of all people? The segment with Foley was good earlier, but again having Vickie involved was a bit of a let down. The whole 'brawl' with Punk was one of the worst I have ever seen, there were 2 punches thrown and the rest of the time was them trying to grab each other like little girls. At least make it like Cena/Brock was!
Very average RAW considering it was an anniversary show. Was expecting a lot more, lack of a Cesaro match was disappointing as well, having him job to a pissed up Flaire and a shit face in Miz was a bit crap.
