Fitness thread [2] - Page 7

Do you work different muscle groups in different sessions. If so, which groups are they?

8k cycle tonight (about 20 mins)
climb about 25/30 floors on the step machine (about 5 mins)
a 2000m row (about 10 mins)
a round on a few weights (45 mins)
then home for me
a do this 3/4 times a week
gonna start swimming twice a week, starting sunday
a hour and a half a time (3 hours a week)

anyone at pure gym?
enjoy it?

shoulders n legs

most chest stuff eg bench does both chest and triceps
some tricep stuff eg tricep dips (with slightly angled grip) does triceps and some chest also

most back stuff eg bent over rows does both back and biceps
some bicep stuff eg close grip pullups does biceps and some back also

basically chest and triceps are linked, as are back and bicep stuff. it just makes sense to work them at the same time

like if you worked chest and biceps on monday, and did bench (you'll also use your triceps)
if you worked back and triceps on tuesday, you'll be using your triceps that you worked out yesterday, so they wont be as good and will still be recovering from yesterdays workout
(same sitch working out your biceps on monday, and back on tuesday, essentially working both out two days in a row if you get me)

haha it'd probably be fine doing it either way mind

Haven't been to the gym since last Sunday.

The time before that was the Tuesday.


I feel horrible.
