Bros, I've just joined a gym to bulk up for my holiday. I'm already sorted for core and cardio cos I run, play sports and do some circuit training, but my upper body is like a 12 year old's :< Ideally I'd like to put on about a half a stone (I'm 10 stone atm, 6 ft tall) of muscle mass, mainly pecs and arms and was wondering what the best exercises are / how many calories I'd need etc. I'm a gym nub so don't come at me with a shit ton of technical terms

I thought 7-8lbs in 2 months was ambitious

Same as gym days I think, Maestro (except obviously not after your workout because you wont be doing that) Lazzara, Denners and other gym ITK's, I've chalked up a quick note on my phone for the next few months, tell me if you see anything missing/wrong quote3000 calories/day Salmon Pasta 150g Protein Water Squats, Pushups, Barbell row, Dumbell flys & press Low reps/High weights 2 days rest/week Shakes immediately after workout 3 per day/ 2 per rest day
Aiming to build upper body strength & gain about 10 lbs of muscle for my holiday in July

Been trying to keep up at least 5 hours a week at the gym but I've been missing out cos its a 20 minute cycle just to get there and I've had work and exams almost non stop.
Put on 4 lbs so far in about 2 weeks but not seen a major difference in my chest yet, though my biceps have visibly grown.
Need to be more disciplined in having my daily shakes as well cos I skip them too often cos they're *bleep*ing horrible

Trying to gain mass anyway  Went yesterday and going again today, starting to see some real improvements now, reckon I'll be happy with my body for my holiday next week. *bleep*ing shattered though working 9-5 and going straight to the gym afterwards

that sounds about right mate. I just don't have the determination to get up and go out for a run. Guarantee lifting on fats still starts you stronger than lifting on practically *bleep* all did lul  That said, at this rate I'm gonna be a legit sickkunt by the end of Summer, almost doubled most of my lifts and starting to see some decent size.

I have some proper overpriced vile shit with Creatine and Glutamine mixed in as well. It reckons you should have 4 a day but I've only ever managed 2.
Works a treat tho.

Just noticed I've been majorly neglecting my triceps, any decent exercises for them? iirc there's nowhere at my gym to do dips, can't think of any others
Felt good on holiday although I'm still pasty as *bleep* bar one or two patches where I'm burned up, ruining my aesthetics :<

How tall are you 9 1/2 stone lot? Was just under 10st when I started, up to 65kg (10st 3) now just with a shit ton of eating, creatine and regular gym
6' tall, btw. Ideally like to hit 67/68kgs, while keeping my body fat % as low as it is now.
