I think Buttons out of it as well, barring a freak series of circumstances he doesn't have a chance. I'd like to see either of the English drivers win it but if that doesn't happen then hopefully Webber will win

I agree. The Ferrari seems to be a pretty mediocre car whilst the Red Bulls are clearly the best

Anyway good that Alonso didn't win but my opinion on him has risen because he was very gracious in defeat which after his earlier antics I wasn't expecting

Tilke or something like that, he's designed the new USA circuit in Austin. I really hope that Magny Cours doesn't come back, it's a poor track as there's only three really challenging corners, the two Hairpins and the chicane at the end. Apparently, according to Jonathan Legard's twitter they're thinking of changing the Abu Dhabi layout.

Well it looked like there were loads of configurations for it. I'm glad they changed Bahrain back for next year, this years was the worst race ever with the new layout

Brundle really knows his stuff and Legard just sucked up to him basically, at least now we have two former F1 drivers who have been in the sport long enough to know what they're talking about. Only problem with that is that Eddie Jordan has been promoted to chief pundit where he doesn't really have a clue

Apparently this McLaren is the first of it's kind, only difference I can see is that the side pods drop quite quickly near the rear wing.

Formula 1 star Robert Kubica has suffered fractures to his left arm and left leg after a high-speed rally crash in Italy, BBC Sport understands.

The 26-year-old Pole crashed into a church wall and was air-lifted to a hospital near Genoa.

A spokeswoman for his British-based Renault team told Reuters the driver was conscious and a statement would be issued shortly.

It looks unlikely he will be ready for the new season, starting on 13 March.

Kubica's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, but following surgery to his left arm in 2003 after crashing in a Formula 3 race, there may be some doubts about his ability to continue in the sport.

Reports suggest that Kubica was 4.6km from the start of the Ronde di Andora rally when the crash occurred. It is believed his co-driver Jakub Gerber was unhurt.

Kubica regularly competes in rallies and was driving on Sunday a week after testing the new Renault in Valencia ahead of the opening Formula 1 race in Bahrain.

He was an impressive performer last season to finish in eighth position in the drivers' table, securing second at Melbourne and a third in Monaco and Belgium.

Kubica also suffered a bad crash at the Canadian Grand Prix in 2007 and was forced to miss one race. He returned a year later to claim his first Formula 1 victory.

Meh, some of the reserve drivers are terrible, they should draft in Niko Hulkenberg tbh, not many better reserves around. Shame about Kubica, even Alonso said he's the best driver on the grid, he's definitely up there. If he returns I can see him going to Ferrari in the near future

On the season preview on the BBC sport website, Brundle said each driver could be making 4 or 5 stops per race which of course means the higher chance of a pit stop being *bleep*ed up, not over til they take the chequered flag
