Yeah I watch snooker, it's my second fave sport behind football. I have a league snooker match tonight, should be easy, not cos I'm good cos I ain't really but the other team tonight are shite. Anybody else play it?

So... I won my snooker match last night, had a 21 break which is enough to get a mention in the local paper when the match reports go out. It's not my highest but I was pleased with it

I'm 17, I wish I was 10 with a high break like that but it's too late. I've been told I've got a lot of talent shame I've wasted it and only started playing a year ago

Yeah I'd like to see Selby or Robertson win it now. If they don't this year then they will both defenitly have chances in the future but most of the top seeded players are out so they may never get a better chance than this.

As I type this Ali Carter is losing 5-0 to Robertson, in a best-of-33 frame match then he could get that back but he has to get his finger out fast

He also played one absolute peach of a pink and screwed across the table beautifully. I'm hoping he wins the tournament now although I wouldn't have a problem with Robertson winning it.

Selby is my new favourite player, growing up I idolised Stephen Hendry but I just love Selby now - he is just never beaten and will put in 100% effort til the last frame is completed

So who here actually plays the game? It's a *bleep*ing difficult sport, the boys on the telly make it look easy at times, his will to win is excellent

If what has emerged this morning is true then snooker could be dealt a massive blow - world number 1 John Higgins apparently has taken bribes to lose frames in the future

Higgins has been suspended pending an investigation, I don't see what difference that makes as he is not in any tournaments now anyway

John Higgins cleared of bribery/match fixing but charged with bringing game into disripute resulting in a ban til November and a £75,000 fine.

I always thought he'd get charged with match fixing, I mean the evidence looked pretty black and white, hoepfully we'll hear about why he was let off

I came home from snooker hoping to see the end but it was over too soon, Was such a boring tournament, probably because the big guns were out early. No Ronnie, no Selby and most importantly no Hendry . Was hoping Fu was going to win

Hoping O'Sullivan batters Murphy, Ronnie played shite and was still 6-2 up. Watching Hendry atm, the man's my hero but it doesnt' look good for him, 5-1 down struggling to pot the long balls, his career will be over soon

Mark Selby made 6 centuries in one match against Hendry and the match isn't over yet. Doesn't look good for Hendry, if he loses and Stuart Bingham wins then Bingham will take his place in the top 16. Selby has broken the record for the most centuries in a best of 35 frame match

Yep dislike the wanker. Normally I'd be cheering on Bingham but as Hendry's career was at stake I was cheering Ding

^^^^^^ think that may happen as well. Hope it doesn't, really want Trump to win this. He needs to get his first frame on the board asap and then he'll gradually settle down. All aspects of his game looked good against Ding, it's just repeating those on the bigger stage

Ronnie's only flaw over the years was his temperament, now he's working with a psychiatrist the man literally has no weaknesses, the other players better hope he retires or he could eclipse Hendry's record of world titles.
