I thought I'd start a Pro Evolution Soccer thread, now that the PES forum is part of the Football Lounge. It's only fair.

I was into PES10 a lot when it came out (mainly because I was enthusiastic about Acquafresca's preset appearance) but I'm not liking the gameplay at all currently. You can't pass the ball around the way you did in previous PES games, it's almost impossible to beat your man, it somehow feels more like FIFA now and I don't like that.
I'll give it another chance in a lower difficulty level at some point, though, maybe play the PS3 version against a mate too as I've only played the PC one against the CPU. -------------------  Can't leave it, the game needs him Plus the people need someone to believe in | |

 Pes 2010 is pretty cool, the ML has some big improvements and the new gameplay is alot more challenging. So it should last a really long time -------------------  | |

PES10 was awful in my opinion. Demo was terrible. PES08 was the last good one if you ask me. PES06 was the best ever though.

IMO PES08 was a failure, PES09 was nearly good but the refs were awful. This year KONAMI have it spot on. I gopt FIFA 10 at first because it was first out and was bored of it by the time PES had been out for a week. FIFA is still too repetitive and you can't win by a normal scoreline, it's got to be 3-0 to you or 5-0 to tyour opponents. PES had rekindled its great gameplay and it is very addicting. The ML is fantastic and reminices the ones from the PS2. All I want now is preset sponsors to use on your kits

PES6 is definitely the best football game I've ever played, I still enjoy it just as much. Konami got it all wrong when they moved to next gen, I'm afraid.

I got Fifa first but I'm becoming increasingly bored of it. I'll probably only return to it once my mates stop raping MW2 online.
PES has always been my game, and I like it. It seems to be heading into a new direction of gameplay and visuals and I'm purdy impressed. Still, I miss the days of PES6 on PS2 around my mates house. ------------------- They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. PES 6 and 3 were awesome, played it all the time. But it got shit after 08 and even then, that wasn't very good.

PES3 was the first one I got, and I *bleep*ing loved it!
I remember I had a ML going for about twenty years on that game. Tbh the only reason I liked 08 was because Spurs were licensed.
