More often than not, video games and dvds are highly overpriced in store. Online, however, it can be a lot cheaper, and since I'm used to buying/renting things online, here's some help.

Best Prices

CheapAssGamer - CAG is a site which offers a steady influx of game deals, updated every day or so. It's full of great deals from the first page, but if you join the forum you can see further deals not shown on the homepage. There's also a price tracker to compare prices of a limited number of games for the current week, and a search engine in which you can type in the name of a game and it gives you a user rating and the best prices for the game at the moment.

SavyGamer - SavyGamer is again like CheapAssGamer in it's updating of games. It offers very good deals on video games and sorts them by console.

FindGames.co.uk - A very in-depth search engine for games. Find-Games works like a search engine, in which you type the name of the game and it then offers you the best prices from the best retailers.

HotUKDeals - One of the best search engines I've seen online, HotUKDeals offers great deals for everything, not just video games and dvds. It also includes a voucher system for various retailers used to get a percentage off your basket.

Rental

LOVEFILM - A great rental service for both DVDs and Games. They offer a 14 day free trial, but to get the best out of it, there's some voucher codes here. Just make sure you cancel it before any money is taken out of your account.

Some more cheaper retailers. Remember to check HotUKDeals for voucher codes before buying though.

I'd also reccomend a site called QuidCo. It's a site which allows you cashback on most purchases. It's small, but helpful.
