Football thread rules:

Okay, so this thread is to allow you memebers of the FM Social forum to duscuss any matter relating to football. This thread is the only football thread that is to be created in the forum, so use this thread to discuss pre-season friendlies, transfers, season predictions etc, there will not be a serperate thread for each. Remember that this thread is a trial, so there will be strict rules that must be followed.

The Rules:

* No flaming!


Just because someone doesn't agree with your opinion does not give you the right to insult them. Personal attacks will not be tolerated. Anyone caught flaming another member will be banned immediately without warning. If you see another member flameing please report the post and the mods will deal with it as soon as we can.

* No Spamming/Trolling!


Anyone caught deliberately trying to be an arse and derail the thread will be banned without warning. The quality of posts in this thread don't need to be of the highest quality, but one word posts or merely quoting someone else will not be allowed. If your post is missed or ignored, don't requote it. Try and add something to the discussion. Again, if you see someone acting like a knob, report the post and we'll sort it out.

Also bare in mind this thread is just a trial, so if we have to discipline people left, right and centre then the thread will be closed and a new one will not be created. Remember there is also the Football Forum you can use to discuss football.

When you have a teams who've won the European Cup and a team that were in the UEFA Cup Final 3 years ago, it shows the quality of the league in comparison to the SPL

Celtic also have won the European Cup.
Celtic reached the UEFA Cup final in 2003.
Rangers reached it 2 seasons ago.
