Kesh, nice cover of the solo for Sultans Of Swing! How long did it take to get that nailed?

Me and my mates have actually been practising that as a band for a cover for when we have another of our friends parties where we end up playing. If a video of that comes up ever, I'll put it up.

Cheers! Erm, well I actually learnt that song a while before the video was posted so can't remember exactly. I learnt the basics of it originally and then for the video added in the little little studder stroke things etc at the time of the video if I remember correctly. But originally, I don't think it was longer than a week. But I added things to it later

And ahh, fair do's. Look forward to see your take on it. Funnily enough, my mate knew this band who just played in pubs and stuff, and the guitarist's wife got pregnant or something so he dropped out, and I'm invited to play, ha. Don't like their music and they're like 50 but its the easiest 150pounds I ever made haha. I swear someone recorded a video of it, I'll try to find it later.

Please do, it'd be good to see. Me and my friends are in Uni together, so we're considering playing in local pubs/bars for money whilst we're there.

That and a couple more songs for 150 pounds, haha. Don't really like the music they play or the band in general but might just stick it out for the easy money every so often

I'm on a new kit so trying to get used to it, along with the sound being dodgy, I made a mistake here and there, and my crash managed to fall down near the end, but here, hope it's alright.

Ahh, your video is pretty awesome actually. Love the little twirls with the sticks every so often as well, makes you look really comfortable when playing - when there's just stiff drummers it just seems so awkward so fair play. And your face made me laugh when your crash fell, haha. You just looked at it and gave it a look of disgust.

Mmm, can't really help here. For my Sultans of Swings one, it's my mates house. We used a 'Hughes and Kettner tubeman pre-amp straight into a sound card.' No idea what that means but maybe that makes sense to you to find a way to get the sound quality up?

This song wasn't as hard as I thought to learn on piano, so I thought I'd add some singing haha. Comments on the singing please because I've never really done it before. Have literally tried to learn to play and this sing this in the last 48hours non stop.

Iplayed the paino for about 4-5 years and never really got to grips with reading music. I got grade 1 but learning it off by heart my hand eye co ordination was shocking. I gave up soon after but wnated top get at least a grade to show for the years of wasted practice .
