Musician's Corner

This thread isn't for your favourite bands, songs or albums. This is for music that YOU create. Whether it be playing the guitar to the didgeridoo! State here, how long you've been playing for or whatever it is you do. If you produce music on Fruity Loops Studio then tell us here and maybe post up some of your creations.

Anyway, I've been playing guitar for about 2 weeks now and I can play about 3 or 4 songs. Learnt the intro to She's Got Five Colours in Her Hair - Mcfly earlier tonight, just trying to get it up to speed. I can also play Piano and Clarinet 'cos I'm amazing like that.

I've been writing music for about 2 years but I've slowed down a bit recently over the past half year or so but I'm looking to get back into it. Once I'm great at guitar I should start again.

Id say im 'ok' at playing guitar. I can play a few songs but they obviously arent perfect covers. Ive only been playing for about 5 or 6 months.


I can play the main acoustic part of With Me by Sum 41 pretty well.

I myself am a drummer. Always have been since I was a kid, just tapping everything. haha

I've also been learning ish to play guitar and piano. Also been told I'm a pretty decent singer.

Finally, I've been into writing lyrics a lot. One of the things I do when I can. I honestly think that I am relatively good at writing them.

I'm sure your ass with worth plenty. I'll have fun distorting that. <:

Lol, I must be the only one who doesn't play cool instruments. I play the violin. I know, gay, but hey, Mozart was cool, wasn't he kids

Yeah Mozart was really cool walnuts, he's my hero.

Anyways yeah, i play Bass guitar, and hae done for about a year and a half now. I own a pretty shit one though, which i bought for like £30, but it does the job alright. I'm in a band (everyone is though, right?) and we have our first gig at Barfly in Glasgow in a couple of weeks time. Shitting myself to be honest.

I am also a grade 5 piano player, cause that's how i roll.
