Arsenal was originally formed in 1886 by a group of workers at the Woolwich armaments factory in south London, and the club was first known as Dial Square. The name was soon changed to Royal Arsenal, though when the club turned professional in 1891 the name changed again to Woolwich Arsenal. The prefix was later dropped and the club became Arsenal Football Club.

The best season Arsenal FC had was arguably the 2003/04 season going 49 games unbeaten, winning the FA Premier League and The FA Cup along the way.

However it hasn't been complete success recently for The Gunners as they have been experiencing a barren spell for the past few years. Arsenal did however reach a UEFA Champions League final against Spanish giants Barcelona only to be be robbed by a red card and a late goal at the Stade de France.

All you need is an established DM, that's it. The rest of the transfer money, if there's any left over should be spent on younger players for the future. The rest of the squad is very strong and has enough depth to carry you through the season. I bought Toulalan myself. I didn't sell anyone, but loaned out about 10 of the young players.

paid over the top for balotelli,but £30 mil of it is after a long period of time (something like £15mil for 50 games and another £15mil after max amount of international caps)

Sounds like your doing well Nathan. I just played some portugese side in the CL 3rd Qualifying round and on the 4th minute they scored from a great corner. But we pulled back straight away and won comfortably 2-1. Signed a few players and loaned one out so far, will post an SS of my transfers etc. later tonight or tommorow feel free to add your own screen shots.
