So, anyone plan on picking this up? It's quite pricy, going for $40 more than the usual price.
I know I will be grabbing it. The batarang is very intriguing, and I'll be more than pleased with it, especially if it is made out of some decent material.
The character encyclopedia will also be badass, along with the Hamill/Conroy interviews.
I'll reserve my CE shortly.

I'll probably not buy the collectors. I'm trying to buy less CEs unless they have something very good in them.

Woah, is there anything else i can say about how great this game is going to be? Definetly picking that up. Didn't think they'd issue a limited edition but its gettin' better... There's not a chance in hell i'll be buying the normal edish now, once again thanks for the good news DMD i'm looking even more forward to this game. *Waynetech Batarang Storage Box *12” In-Game Design Batarang (stand attached) *Dr Young’s Journal (50 page full color character encyclopedia) *2 Sleeve DIGI-Pack Including: - Game - Behind the scenes 5 chapter series DVD, including: *Interviews with Mark Hammil and Kevin Conroy *Exclusive Collector’s Edition Challenge Map DLC (Rubs hands together) Oh Yeah It'll be good to see how Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy got on in production, it must've felt like a grand reunion, well it was.

What he said. After purchasing a few collector's editions of games, and then going on to realize that I got hardly any value out of the added goodies, I've cut back and stopped buying them. The batarang sounds very interesting though, as does the character encyclopedia. But exclusive DLC only for those who purchase the CE? I call bullshit on that, hopefully they'll release it for a few bucks online at some point in time. Haha, I'm almost tempted to get it now. I guess I'll see how I'm feeling closer to the release date. But *bleep*, that encyclopedia sounds awesome.

I just pre-ordered the Collectors Edition at gamestop. Paid it all off, and when I was done, I couldn't help but say Damn, that's a lot for a game".
But yeah, I understand people being hesitant. I normally am as well. I've only bought one other LE/CE and that was for Bioshock. That was totally worth it though as the Big Daddy figurine is just amazing.
The batarang is definitely the main attraction. I'm hoping they don't do some plastic bullshit. That would beyond piss me off, and I can't see them being that cheap, especially for an extra 40 bucks. And definitely the encyclopedia is intriguing.
As for the DLC; I'm sure it will be made available to the public for a price. If not, then for sure down the line after a number of months.

Yeah, one of the main reasons this CE's got me invested is because the encyclopedia. But its just a must due to it being the ultimate Batman game finally arriving. The only ever special edition game i bought was GOW2 and that was well worth the price.
And is this batarang actually going to be a quality made model or a cheap-sell point of plastic does anyone know?

This message was edited by DragonMaster Dyne on Mar 30 2009. It's Batman, so you'd probably get the CE whether or not it included all of those things.

The encyclopedia makes it very tempting, but $100 is too much, imo. I won't be getting it.

I'm guessing this will be about £80 in England then. Thats way too expensive. I'll probably just be renting it instead anyway.

The Batarang sounds awesome, but I couldn't afford something like that. The only real Limited Edition I wanted was the Halo Wars one.

WTF! Unfortunately they dont have any pics of what the CE looks like or the stuff it comes with yet.

Well that pretty well decides it for me, I will pre-order BB:AA, and Wolverine. But I don't know what system yet. PS3 or 360? If the quality keeps being about the same PS3 might need the support more. And they don't make you wait for DLC like 360 did at one time, I don't know if they still do. I guess that's for free stuff.

Sounds good, but all that stuff doesn't come with CE's over here (UK)... and even if it did; Prototype and inFamous AND B:AA all in the same MONTH! I think June is the only month of this year I'll be buying 3 games in the space of a week or two... so no B:AA CE (Bace?) for me, ta
