Thoughts: I wanted to put something like a Stratos or some E-Calls to get Ice Edge out quicker so that might be something I add in a later revision. Originally this was going to include Miracle Fusion and possibly a Super Polymerization for "AbZero explosions" but I rather like the consistency of Mermails and let's face it, Ice Edge is just there to draw out some backrow. That is its primary (and quite frankly only) option...
I realize the Deck moves a lot slower than the Genex Undine/Controller engine but GODDAMN I hate drawing Controllers each and every time I play with my friend's Deck. Attack Squad is a personal preference since I love me a 2200 ATK beater when brought out with Deep Sea Diva. The Spell and Traps are subject to change but it is refreshing to not have to play the Solemn brigade and most conventional backrow since the Deck truly does not give 2 *bleep*s about much. Besides, I am popping and hitting the opponent's hand/resources ahead of time most of the time. Abyss-squall and Pot of Avarice seem iffy because although I do usually have a lot of WATER mons in the Graveyard mid to late game, early game they do nothing obviously. Might be taken out for like Mystical Space Typhoon or actual backrow hate eventually. Pretty sure I am missing out on some "broken" cards that go with the Deck but overall having a lot of fun with this atm.

Original build ran Stratos. I realized later that the +1 from Stratos is basically you just wasting a turn when you could just E Call him to your hand. Then I realized Abysspike is the best option since he gets the Ice Edge to your hand while also setting off the Atlanteans.

Ab Zero is the ENTIRE reason to run Ice Edge. No point in having him if you don't run Miracle/Super Poly. It's especially hilarious against other Atlantean/Mermail decks, since he gets huge.

Ice Edge is a direct attacking MST all the while serving as another outlet for the rest of your WATER mons. I think that is a good enough job in itself in my opinion. Miracle Fusion nor Super Polymerization are all that live in this type of Deck considering there are only 3 targets.

And most HERO decks out there run 4-7 HERO monsters in the main with 3 Miracle and 1-2 Super Poly. 1-2 Miracle and possible a Super Poly for 3 targets that are quite searchable is definitely not unrealistic.
Touche Soda. I maaaay think about it but I would rather add something like a Mist Wurm into the Extra as opposed to AbZero atm. Deck hits Level 9 many many times.
