Trishula does not need the "right" situation to break the game. Any situation where he comes out and doesn't get Veiler'd or Warning'd is the "right" situation for him. Successfully summon him and get his effect off? 9 times out of 10 that gives you the duel. orez and I had this thing we did when Trishula was still around. We called it "Trishula every duel". As you might be able to guess, it's where we would summon him every duel. And this wasn't even a challenge. It was easy to do. And guess what else? We would bring him out and rape. Summon him and you instantly -2 your opponent, usually made a -3 by running over something in battle right then and there. Not to mention how crippling it can be to take something away from your opponent's Graveyard.This all makes Trishula the most ridiculously advantageous and easy to pull off play in the game. It's easy to see why orez and I had such great fun with it. And apparently we both told KC about it, since he knows of the stories we can tell. Literally any deck can make this guy without much effort. Decks that don't run tuners? Tech in Birdman, Plaguespreader, or Unknown Synchron (or the non-tech Effect Veiler) and there ya go. There is just too much advantage to him with nothing even attempting to balance him out. Relying on Summon or Effect negation doesn't count. Trishula's design is just borked. I love the guy to death, but I don't care if he never comes back cuz it's root, root root for the...erm ahem. What was I saying? orite, Trish is too good to ever come back. Oh, and if one shouldn't consider him being a -2 towards your opponent since you -2 yourself just to make him, then he's still much too good, because he completely repays your investment in summoning him the second he is Summoned. And he only pays you back more the longer he sticks around. 	I'm fairly sure any monster that stays around for a long time is beneficial. Except perhaps Lava Golem. I don't know, Trish just still doesn't seem to be that much. 2700 is below average for a nine-star. In a format where the opponent can drop masses of dragons every turn, it just doesn't seem like a lot to go on. The effect is spectacular, but I've won tons of games where they dropped an unnegated Trishula on me, and I've lost where I drop Trish on them too. ------------------- {Vanguard} {Magic} {Yu-Gi-Oh}

Trish hits the hand while also being really easily summoned. Also, we have Atlanteans on the horizon, who could drop Trish at the drop of a hat with diva and armsman plays, and then further nuke the opponent's hand by getting enough monsters for Moulin Glace through the summon of Trishula. bleep windups, with trish, moulin glace, and atlanteans themselves, they'll be able to nuke your field and your hand -------------------

	so I just tested with a friend Dino Rabbits using that list. He never drew rabbit and had the stupidest hands. I still lost because of a misplay and a bleepton of backrow both games, but that was mostly my fault. Rabbit to two does a lot to the deck. Meanwhile, Dark Worlds didn't give a bleep and still ran perfectly because my build was completely unaffected by the list. Spoiler:His Rabbit build Spoiler:My DWs -------------------

I dunno, I just don't see Trish being a problem. I'm a strong believer in a lot of people just complaining too much. there are legitimate problems in the game. Stuff like Laggia and Rabbit. Stuff that is just infinitely cheap and silly. I don't see Trishula amongst them. As for the list Kent posted, I think it's 100% fake. A Hero Lives getting Semi'd is silly in my opinion. Level Limit was teched as a side deck card for Chaos Dragons, but that doesn't warrant it being left to Semi limit. No rogue decks run SORL anymore, and I personally believe that the troll factor of Cylinder doesn't make it viable since Burn has so many better options. -------------------

None of those cards are chainable so they can't be used in response to Heavy. Level Limit and SORL both take up slots on the field, so it isn't used because Chain Burn likes being able to hit link 5. Also, level limit is a bad card to use in any alternate win deck for stalling overall because our format is the one where Xyzs exist, and people run 3 lyla and shit like that. SORL also falls to 3 Lyla and 3 mst, and stuff like that. I'll give you Cylinder for that, but even then, 3 Cylinder wouldn't make a difference since Dimensional Wall has the same effect for the deck and they wouldn't run 6 in total with all of the much better choices available. As for other alternate win condition decks that use stall, countdown allso favors chainable stall due to 3 MST and 1 heavy, and no one uses regular burn anymore because its bad. -------------------

	glad to see Kalut in that list but again this list has brio getting banned so both despite the 2nd list being better than the 1st is like picking poison both wreck with my IRL choices. The 2nd list does seem most likely though duality and offering semi'd do seem a little weird I didn't picture either of them being touched this time and I question it a little for only hitting 1 Wind-up and even then it's not in the main deck but I suppose it fuels the loops and other shenanigans so hitting hunter would be getting greedy ------------------- By Charley
