What other games are there like amplitude? (Not frequency)

I HAVENT PLAYED AMPLITUDE....CUS WELL I CANT FIND IT ANYWHERE.....DOES IT HAVE GOOD SONGS.....???? AND IS THE GAME REAL GOOD??...
OH AND TO ANSWER UR Q.....THERES A REALY OLD GAME FOR PSX...I THINK ITS CALLED LIKE N2O OR SOMETHIN....BUT THAT GAMES KINDA TIGHT....U MIGHT LIKE THAT GAME...IF YOU LIKE ROCK MUSIC AND CRAZY GRAPHICS N STUFF

First I would like to say that amplitude is a GREAT game. It's one of those games that you think looks stupid, and a little boring, until you put your hands on the controller! then it's like crack, ever so adictive!
If you are having problems finding a copy of amplitude, stop by a local "GameStop" or any buy/sell/trade game store. You can probably find it on ebay as well.

Now to get to the actual question... To start, there is a prequel to amplitude that came out quite a while ago it's called "frequency" for PS2. It has a nice variety of music, but I think it's a little more challenging than amplitude. Frequency doesn't give you as much slack on hitting the notes at exactly the right time.

There is also a newer game called "Guitar Hero" also made by the Harmonix team. There isn't as much of a variety of music, as this is mainly a Rock-N-Roll game. This game is a little different than amplitude, but it has the same concept...hit the right notes at the right time. This game is a little more pricy, but it comes with an SG Guitar controller.

If you liked amplitude I would HIGHLY recomend "Frequency" and "Guitar Hero"

You'd probably like the one before it, called Frequency. It's basically the same gameplay except with different songs and a different layout.

If your looking for a challange: Beatmania is excellent.
If you want a PC based game that also presents a Challange: O2Jam is also excellent.
