Similarities between the books and this game

There are a few things that are different when it comes to the game, and the book, and if you have any questions with this issue, ask em here!!

The game starts off with a quote directly from the book "The Wheel of time turns, and ages come and pass"

The you are taken to Tar Valon, and into the white tower where you are introduced to the main character Illanya. She is Brown Ahjah, she is Aes Sedai.
It's a very long story, but it does relate to the book...as far as characters are concerned it is 100% accurate. You don't have to have read the books to understand the game, but if you have read them, you really gain an appreciation for the way Robert Jordans world looks like.
You end up going after the cuindellar seals, 4 of them.....you fight the hound, Ishmeal, whitecloaks, and trollocs.
You visit Shadar Logoth, Tar Valon, The Ways, and the Blight.

Yes those characters are in the game for sure. It's interesting because in the book, the hound is Padan Fain, but you don't find that out for a few books.

this is way off topic, but theres like two book-one's or some shit, so could someone clear this up for me? i dont know which one to read.

also, should i read "new spring" before book one?

Reading new spring firstis not necessary and not really recommended. The proper Book 1 is "The eye of the World" and is roughly nine hundred pages long. The two shorter ones are a cynical money making ploy, i.e. they cost about as much each as TEotW does, so dont buy them unless you cant read a long book.
