Bash Script Help

Hey guys I have the below script that I wrote:

#!/bin/bash while : do php /home/webdata/cron/processLogs.cron.inc.php sleep 10 done

From my limited knowledge, every 10 seconds the script will have the processLogs.cron.inc.php page process. My question is, does the above code wait until the PHP page finishes processing (which normally takes 2-3 seconds) then sleeps for 10 seconds?

OR

Does that execute every 10 seconds regardless of the PHP script finishing processing?



If it is relevant, I call this code to start the bash script:

nohup bash /home/webdata/cron/process.sh &

As far as I am aware, the php command is synchronous. This means that it'll sleep after the script finishes executing.
