I don't believe that the original GA-7ZX had any overclocking capabilities. The revision 1.x of the GA-7ZXR I believe had some overclocking abilities, but sparse she was. The rev 2.x boards are well ripened and ready for picking though!

I like a blue PCB like the next guy, but more overclocking results would have made the review more valuable, especially if the board has such great overclocking features - everyone wants to know how well those "features" translates to real world performance.

Samson and Hector, your points about overclocking are definitely founded. Problem: I am using my own CPU for the Socket A mobo reviews and I initially had no problems testing overclocking results. That is, until my chip mysteriously stopped working (I am pretty sure it wasn't the overclocking, but you never know). That was the 650MHz Duron that I used in the 8KTA2 and FIC AZ11E reviews. I don't have the cash to buy another chip right now, if this one were to go out on me. Once the money starts rolling, I guarantee that I will do much more in the way of overclocking, but right now in these tough Internet times I am stuck in a hard place.

In regards to the Blue PCB, you can call me a sucker, but I still like it. I do tend to open up my case all the time and screw around with the innards, so that probably has something to do with it. Or maybe I am just a big loser

ive got the 2.2 ver of this board and the easytune works like a charm - i clocked my 1ghz to 1.1 by pressing a couple of buttons!!
