	Log in to remove this advertisement For anyone that has played the previous versions of the game, you know very well that gold was almost completely useless. In fact it was a joke. This time around Blizzard wanted to change that and make gold just as important as it is in WoW. What are your guys thoughts on it so far? For me, I think just as a low level character (3, only was able to play for about an hour so far) I think I have just about 150 gold. Not always trying to compare it to Wow, but to get 150 gold you'd probably have to get to like level 20 or something. Do you guys think it accumulates too quickly? Are the prices right? ------------------- Questional

	once u get to nightmare the drop gold like crazy, im on act 1 in nightmare and according to stats have collected 212k gold. i like that gold is important in this game, and much easier to pick up lol -------------------

	By the end of normal mode I picked up 220k gold (picked up, excludes sales etc), though do note that you don't have copper/silver. Prices are also pretty high for some things. Buying stash slots is 10k each 14 slots, 100k for the 2nd tab and 200k for the 3rd tab (excluding the extra slots). Then there is crafting.. currently it costs a few thousand to craft items on my character. 	Crafting is also permanent, no? I'm pretty sure you only need to level It on one character 2. Then craft stuff for other chars with that char.

Crafting is indeed permanent as far as I've seen, it's just locked to your account rather than characters. Yes, you cab obtain gold extremely quickly, but you're getting confused here...WoW has copper, silver, gold and platinum coins. Gold in D3 is the only form of currency. One gold is probably equal to one copper. At the same time, you have to look at the prices. A low-level ring in D3 costs 2000~ gold from the vendor.
