yeah also the different builds hopefully. With the smaller class listing means more specialization within the classes. What I would hope for is a respec option like WOW where you pay a fee and are able to reset your abilities, now some may say no; but this is a way to not punish beginners who become better at the game and realize what a better spec would be. Also you wouldnt have to constantly reroll to get a different character type. I would save time and energy to veterans who are lazy and just want to try something new. Hopefully all the classes will be less gear dependent this time around.

Well thats good, whats I'm hoping for is just some of the better things from WOW make their way to D3 and from the looks of it they are.

I don't think that D3 will be like WoW. WoW is more life-absorbing, you end up putting in HOURS just to achieve any kind of high-level success, whereas the Diablo series has always been more quick as it were, you don't have to spend as much time leveling and such.

I've had my life absorbed by d2 in teh past.

I was thinking what if they did something like fable where the higher level you are the more it shows, like if you start out as a Barbarian then you should look young, but as you gain levels you begin to get scars and more muscular.

I kind of thought that visually they ripped off the Sorcerer, which I'd much rather see again, just for the sake of a pure class. Hybrids are fun, but we're trying not to delineate amongst each character.

Plus those Mages didn't do much more than prick with the sword. T'was all in the magic.

'No returning classes' has been confirmed. The Barbarian, according to one of the devlopers, was the only character that they felt could have been seriously improved from the last game, and is the only nostalgic class in the new game.

The reason the Necromancer, most user's top pick, didn't make the cut? He was quoted as being absolutely flawless in design, and didn't need to be brought back in Diablo 3.
