Quick save doesn't work

I don't remember there being any sort of quick save in WaW. If you hit escape at any time during a mission, you can Save and Quit. That's about as close as it gets to a quick save.

Regarding "Save and Quit" it forces you to leave the game and more importantly only saves from the last checkpoint not from the in game position attained.

OK, I understand what you mean now. However, it doesn't work and I don't think it was intended to work. They probably attempted to implement it but then ultimately didn't and forgot to remove the listing in the button assignments.

First off, Quick Save doesn't work in checkpoint-based games because game saves always revert to the last checkpoint, no matter where you are in the mission.

Second, there is no reference to Quick Save in the manual, reaffirming that it wasn't intended to work.

Third, the only way you can exit singleplayer is to Save and Quit, which would override any Quick Save you could do. Not to mention, without a Reload feature, Quick Save is essentially useless.

Sorry my friend, it is not meant to be. Not with this game.
