Just installed but very slow

Like the title. Installed the game, but takes ages to load, then when im playing, when explosions etc go off and a lots happening, goes really slow. I've only done the 1st level, and had to quit to try sort it because its very annoying. I have top notch computer, with 2GB ram etc. So nothing to do with that i dont think. Any suggestions anyone please? Thanks

lol, well actually i just used the system requirements lab site, and it says my graphics card isnt good enough. I have an ATI radeon X1550 which works perfect on all my other games. It says the same thing for dead space, but that runs fine. This is what it says when it says Graphics card fail!

Minimum: Shader 3.0 or better, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or better
You Have: Radeon X1300/X1550 Series (ATI Radeon Graphics Processor AGP (0x7183)

But then underneath all that it says this which has a tick next to them all!

Everything else it passes on including CPU and Speed, but the graphics card cudnt slow it down when its loading etc could it?

AA wats that? Ill try but i have everything set to low etc. No im running windows XP. I ordered a new graphics card online anyway, hopefully here tomorrow. I ordered a 1GB NVIDIA GEFORCE 9500GT 1024MB PCI-EX Graphics Card Supposed to be hot for gaming. Would this work?

yes it supports PCI express, but im not too sure what PSU is? Sorry i'm not too clever with computers, i just know the basics lol

Ok i have a problem! I've just got a new graphics card, i cudnt wait for the one to be delivered, so i went and got a 9400GT PCI Express 2 512MB Geforce graphics card. It now says on the systemrequirementslab.com website that the PC is more than fine of running the game. But still loading the game takes ages. Everything is fine now running the game, but it still takes ages loading. I haven't tried the gameplay yet, as i needed to ask what else it could be thats slowing loading the game down?

i checked them, and there is a few programs running, but theres nothing over 45,000KB really, which was COD 5 multiplayer at the time. I've ordered a quad core q6600 processor, hopefully here today, i only have an intel celeron D at that moment which i was told isn't brilliant for gaming. Also i was told if my hard drive is quite old, (which it is, i have a seperate 80GB one which i store all my games on) Then that may cause a problem? I've just recently got a brand new external 160GB Harddrive, will it play better if i store it on there you think?

I have the Q6600, its fast. An external HD would be even slower i think, they aren't meant for gaming. I think you should get a new internal one. Test the new CPU first to see how much of a difference its makes before spending anymore unnecessarily.

i also installed the game and it ran very very slow, more than usual.. see i run COD4 in a perfect way, no problem at all, but im having problem with this one, for the recomended requirements i meet all of them, got
4gb ram
512 video and a good stuff hehe, also im on a laptop dv9000

i had to lower the texture to 800x something~ and it started running good, but still i think with the specs of my computer i could run the game better, any clue or comment? thanks
