Congrats to toonarmy148 for winning January's GOTM competition and thanks to everyone who participated and voted There were some good goals this month and hopefully we'll see some more entered for February's competition.

Third place isn't bad. In all honesty I wasn't even expecting that =P Toonarmy though is a very deservign winner, excellent goal =)

And Torres, basically, you need to cut inside and just attempt random lond range shots. Messi is great for these because he is a left footed right winger, meaning you can curl the ball in beautifully. Just attempt some wild shots and if the player is good enough, some will go in =)

Assisted. Manual is stupid IMO, because you have to shoot straight. You can't put curve on the ball.

Why?

As I said, I just can't use it. Getting the achievement for it was a mare and I haven't ever successfully managed to put the proper amount of curl on the ball with manual, whereas with assisted it is very easy.

You change it in the settings somewhere. Basically, with the manual settings you control the curl yourself rather than the computer doing it for you. Though in some ways it is much better as the shot goes eactly where you want it too, it takes a lot of practise to get it just right.
