Reccomended level

I'm not at this part yet (in fact, far from it), but which level should I be in order to quickly beat the Final Boss?

re: Reccomended level

I'd recommend at least level 60 and a high level monster partner.

Good, that shouldn't be too hard. Might take a while to do, but at least I'll be prepared. Thank you =D

re: Reccomended level

Eh, you'll be "adequatley" prepared for the final boss, not well prepared. Level 60 is almost the minimum requirment for the final boss, since I had some trouble with him at level 72. The recommended level is 99 obviously, but its unlikely anyone will even bother to level that much, so if you want to be okay in a fight against him, go with 60. But if you want to be really prepared for the fight, wait until 67 at least.

I myself beat the final boss at 58, but I'm just really good at dodging his attacks. I guess it just depends on how good you are at dodging.

Lol, yeah I don't think I'll be aiming for lvl 99 anytime soon. But an extra seven levels shouldn't hurt. I'm not so good at dodging things, unless the attacks are incredibly slow.

re: Reccomended level

I do believe at one point he gets a sword the size of the town and attempts to chop your head off with it, forcing you to run ALL the way to the other end of the arena and squeeze into a safe spot barely capable of fitting you. It's likely you wont know this is happening till its happened once, so having a large amount of Hp is recommended, thus meaning more leveling.

When he does that, the view zooms out and you can see the entire field. As well, you get about 20 seconds to get to the other side of the field and that safe area is fairly big. If anything, that is the easiest of his attacks to dodge.

I said its likely, I never said it was GOING to happen. It's possible that you WILL get hit by it once, either from not running fast enough or from simply not knowing where to go. But only once, since people seem to always learn from attacks. If you managed to dodge it on your first try, good for you. But for us slower folk, we got hit at least once.

Hey, I'm not trying to start an argument but all you have to do is run to the complete opposite side of the field and I tested it out under different scenarios. You can make it to the other side of the field even if you are right next to the enemy.

re: Reccomended level

What I mean is that the player himslf might accidentley stumble into the attack, purposley or through simple clumsiness. When the screen zooms out, yes, its only natural to run FAR away from the big sword. But people sometimes still get hit by this, mostly because its a new attack and people dont know how to respond. Their's no designated area that lights up to show us where to go, like most other games try to do, so you can understand that it'll be a little confusing at first. Thats what I'm trying to get at, not that its impossible or difficult to dodge the attack like you keep saying, but that its likely you'll get hit once during the trial & error part.

re: Reccomended level

Either way, Level Sixty to Seventy would probably be fine. I overestimated my opponate and waited to fight him after beating every other boss in the game. I decided to see what I was up against and saved before going, planning to die. I only brought three energy drink S and some high level foods. I was at level 92 and brought a level 88 micro dragon.

It was the easiest boss I had ever faced.
It's easy to dodge most attacks, and like someone mentioned before, a high level monster partner did help. In fact, all I really had to do was dodge the whole time and run in to swing every now and then when I felt like it, but my dragon took him down no problem. I waited till level ninety and had absolutely no problem. At about level seventy you should be fine with plenty of energy drinks, foods, good armor and a good sword.
Happy Fighting.

re: Reccomended level

Wait, don't you have to beat every boss in order to fight him?

re: Reccomended level

Erm, Yes. Hence the name, "Final Boss".

Anyway, I agree with Domino that he's probably the easiest boss to beat. It's not very hard to dodge his attacks once you know them, but like I said before, it's still likely your going to get hit by some of them at some point, especially the "OMFG Sword". In which case, a high amount of Hp will be needed. But not much else really.

Edit: Actually, I think you can skip the Snow Ruins Boss, which is the Ice Snake, not Black Iris. The same goes for the one on Whale Island. All you need is access to the Snow Ruins. The story can continue whether you've beaten the boss there are not.
