	Log in to remove this sponsored message I just finished a game of Team Slayer, in which I primarily used the Banshee. I didn't get many kills at all (only 6, actually), but my presence alone was enough to contain the other team and get us the win. Naturally, I was accused of "Banshee Whoring" in the post-game. So what do you all think: Is using the banshee almost the entire game simply an effective strategy, or do you find it a cheap way to win? Personally, I think both teams have an equal chance at the banshee, and so it is in no way "cheap." And even if a team has it, it's still not invincible, nor does it guarantee a victory for the team. When used correctly, however, the banshee is just a damn effective way to whoop the other team. Nothing cheap or n00b about it. -------------------

	If it's in the game, use it. Matter of fact, always grab the rockets before you get into the banshee. The banshee is great on slayer games on Coag mostly because if your team controls rockets, and both banshee's and maybe a sniper. You have map domination. Anything you do a lot is always called whoring. But they would've done the same thing, so why are you in the wrong. Ascension is also a great map to control with the banshee because rockets aren't too far away from it. Sometimes when it first starts if you are next to the banshee, jump in and boost towards the rockets, hop out, grab them, jump back in and constantly distract the other team by flying over them and sometimes shooting at them letting your team grab both snipers and dominating. A win is a win.

First off, there is no way everyone has a equal chance of grabbing the banshee, one team spawns closer to the banshee than the other team. And yes, the banshee is near invincible if the other team doesnt have rockets. Once you grab the banshee, the imidiate counter is a rocket, if you would to take this rocket launcher, you are really srewing up the other team, and they can be easily killed. thus, this will grant you even further control over the map with snipers. Thus making the Rocket launcher on the bottom so hard to grab without being sniped, so bassiclly the entire game is over because you are fighting with a smg first the best things in the game. To top it all off, the banshee requires little to no skill. and even if the other team WAS to get a sniper (a super weapon) they cant do anything with it becase you cant snipe the banshee, and that banshee is going to go after you. ------------------- What you see, sometimes isn't what is truly there. And what you hear, isn't sometimes truly your heart. When you will do anything, just for someone to care. You can too be blind to see, you love them too much to be apart.

	Are you kidding me? no serouslly, you are joking right? i personally dont think the banshee is necessary for this map, and i get some punk kid who thinks his good at halo running his mouth off at me. Halo 2 is basically a war, you don't start fighting when both you and your enemy have equal technology. If you have some kind of advantage, you should exploit it. 	Yeah I agree with Turmoil, plus I have found that the Banshee is getting used less and less in games recently, does anyone else find that or is it just me?

	Steel it depends on the map. If it's Ascension, then i'd agree that hardly anyone uses it that much anymore...but coag will never change.

	On Ascension it sucks if you don't have the Banshee, but its not "cheap". Yeah it annoys the piss out of me when the Banshee is kicking my ass everytime I respawn- but I'm not going to yell at anyone for it, because I'd do the exact same thing. You just gotta be smart about how you go about it. Main priority then becomes to get the rocket launcher, whether they have it or not. When me and my friends USED to play Halo [I don't know how the bleep any of you guys can play this game anymore], we'll win about 75% of the time against a team who is using the Banshee tactic against us. -------------------

	Actually, the SMG is ultra-effective against the Banshee, so it's really not even close to invincible, since in most gametypes you start with an SMG. So you don't have rockets, WHO GIVES A CRAP? Rockets are easy to dodge, SMG bullets aren't. Banshees can't really do much damage to you if you're smart and shoot at them once they get near enough to shoot accurately at you.
