	Log in to remove this sponsored message iv been on a point were theres a witch in the safe room and tanks chasing us the tank always punches me or the ai into the witch one man down tanks using like ragdolls and the witch ripping me or the ai appart and no-one can reach the door oh ad before i submit on l4d2 on dead center thers always a siin the saferoom like 2 chardgers or 1 or one time there was a team of hunters

I don't think it's a glitch though, you're right that it can spawn everywhere. The size of a safe room compared to the whole map makes it spawning there improbably but not impossible. Does it depends on the difficulty? I recently found a Hunter in a Saferoom (the Director set it up on Death Toll) another Witch and a Tank before i get in into Saferoom (in both Advanced and Normal, in Dead Air). But I've seen one Tank at the start and one at the end, even on expert. The results were not good. I've only ever seen it on No Mercy 2, Dead Air 4 and I think once in Death Toll 4, it's usually the bigger maps. As for 3 Tanks in a level, that's quite nasty outside of a Finale. I've never heard of 3 outside a finale level before...at least in L4D2 I think VALVe limited the tanks spawn limit to 1.
